Nicoletti Home is an internationally recognised Italian brand, with a 40-year experience in the top quality upholstered furniture business. Its two main product ranges are leather sofas, which represent our core bisiness, and micro-fibre and fabric sofas. The company is located in the Murgia District, that today is considered the most important upholstery District at national level. A reality that has been able to combine a long artisan tradition with the authentic and distinctive sign of the Made in Italy worldwide. Nicoletti Home holds a significant share in the international market since 90% of sales is registered in 70 countries. Advanced industrial processes and a careful selection of raw materials, along with craftsmanship, precision and style, make Nicoletti Home sofas unique. The company aims also to have a substantial role in highly added value markets such as Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Far Eastern Areas, in order to enter the richest niches and the so-called affordable luxury segment of the market, characterized by a high quality product at an affordable price. Such a organization requires a considerable investment in market research, product development, training. Its targeted marketing policy and its brand strategy, the latter being the most important one for the future, summarize the view and the mission of Nicoletti Home. Part of this investment in branding and styling the Made in Italy product is: 1. the selection of the top multi-products furniture stores throughout the domestic market in order to open Nicoletti Home exhibition areas, guaranteeing them exclusivity, national advertising campaign and personnel training. 2. the strengthening of corner shops within the points of sale of top retailers at an international level. 3. the exploration of new partnerships in other sectors, as the fashion one, in order to increase the Nicoletti Home brand awareness. In this scenario, Nicoletti Home has launched a collaboration with Ermanno Scervino, the legendary Italian fashion industry, for the design and the sale of furniture living areas signed Ermanno Scervino Home. 4. the development of a new business in the contract and residential fields in all the areas where construction projects, hotels and residential complex are booming. 4 NICOLETTIHOME Technological Innovation To Support Italian Style A Management Reference Model within the Furniture Industry The technological innovation is another important driver in which NicolettiHome has always believed, a tool combining made in Italy efficiency and its typical creativity. Though a more flexible and optimized production process has been adopted, the end product has not lost its artisan manufacture. The use of technologically-advanced machines characterises all processing phases: from sophisticated design and drawing tools (CAD 3D) to a computer-driven cutting system of fabrics and microfibre up to the integrated scanning system and leather cutting. Moreover, in order to control the production and decision-making processes, Nicoletti Home uses the SAP management platform, thus obtaining significant advantages in the optimization of all internal processes and in customer satisfaction. Another concrete example of our propensity towards innovation is the 220,000 cubic meter automated warehouse, the first and only one existing at European level. This computerised warehouse management system allows the immediate localization and handling of almost codified seats. Every single carton is carefully monitored during all stages, until it is ready to be loaded at the terminal and shipped. The advantages are evident in the automation process, in safety, in the precision of the packing activity, in the total product quality and in the optimizing of transport.
