4 Set Questions for Conversation Cafe sessions (see appendix 1) PART2 Citizens at the Centre Transforming public services in the City Facilitated by Cllr Maureen Child, Capital Coalition Third Sector Champion Each of the following questions will be considered by two tables. (two tables will be set-aside for open discussion on other issues): a. ES 1 & 2: What else could the public and third sectors do together to respond to the need for changes in providing community services? b. ES 3 & 4: How can cooperation be maximised across sectors and organisations to meet the needs of citizens and c. ES 5 & 6: What key action (separately and together) can the public and third sectors take to (i) respond to the need for change and (ii) mitigate impacts upon citizens and d. ES 7 & 8: What are the best ways for third sector and community organisations to engage with the need for changes in delivering public services and what can the public sector do to assist with this? ES 5 & 6: What key action can the public and third sectors take to (i) improve the volumes of active citizenship, (ii) improve opportunities for community-giving and (iii) are there innovations that could be further explored? d. ES 7 & 8: How can third sector and community organisations best use recent empowerment legislation to improve the voice of communities and to make a difference?
