2 Introduction turns your iphone into an emergency locator in conjunction with your Eyez-On account. Just press the SOS button and your Eyez-On contact list will be sent an emergency notification by or SMS with a custom message and your location if available. can also be used as a safety tracker to track the location of a loved-one in realtime through the Eyez-On portal. All the Eyez-On features are available including unlimited contacts and unlimited "geofences" that can alert you when their equipped iphone goes into an area deemed unsafe by you. Getting Started 1. Purchase and download the App from the Apple itunes App Store. 2. Once is installed. Launch the app on your Apple iphone. 3. From the main screen press the information icon (i) in bottom right corner 1

3 4. Once on the info screen you can choose to create a new Eyez-On account or use an existing account if you have one. If you do not have an account press the Create New EyezOn Account button. If you already have an account skip to Step Once you press the Create New EyezOn Account button, the Safari application will open on your iphone. Please follow the instructions to create a new account. Once the account is created you will receive an with the details and temporary password for your new account. Return to the application and open the Info screen again. 6. Enter the information for your existing or newly created Eyez-On account in the section titled Or Use Existing Account. Once your credentials have been entered press the Verify Account Settings button. You should receive a message indicating the verification was successful. 2

4 Settings The settings screen allows you to configure the operation of the application. GPS Settings Low Power Mode:! On: When in background mode or if device is asleep the application will report the location only on significant changes in location.! Off: When in background mode or if device is asleep the application will report the location more frequently and with more granularity.! Note: Continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Server Updates:! On: The application reports location updates when available to the EyezOn server. 3

5 ! Off: The application does not report location updates when available to the EyezOn server. Note: If the SOS button is pressed this setting is ignored and the location is sent if available. Update Frequency! Determines the frequency at which new location fixes will occur if the application is in the foreground and the device is not asleep. Main Screen The main screen allows you to operate the SOS function and see the last location update if available. SOS Button! Press this to send an SOS message to the contacts in your Eyez-On contact list.! Note: You must log in to your Eyez-On account from a computer to set up your contact list and indicate which contacts should be alerted in the event of an SOS button press from the application. 6 ! Frequency: Indicates the frequency setting for location updates performed while the application is in the foreground and the device is not aspleep.! Last Update: Show the time of the last location update performed while the application is in the foreground.! SOS Message Screen The SOS message screen allows you to enter an optional message before sending the SOS alert. Cancel Button! Cancels sending a new SOS and returns to the main screen. Send Now! Button! Sends the SOS and any optional message to the server. Optional Message Area! Tap in this area to enter an optional message. 5

7 Using Your Eyez-On Account Your Eyez-On account can be accessed from an Internet connected computer and used to configure the contact list. 1. In your web browser software navigate to and log in to your account. 2. Once logged-in navigate to the Contacts page where you can add new contacts and assign them to the iphone with the app installed. 6
