1 Tigers: Station: Arts & Crafts Elective: Earning Your Stripes- scouts worked with many different colors, demonstrated loyalty, chose a helpful task, discussed and demonstrated manners and respect, played a game, and worked on many projects which will benefit their community. Elective: Stories in Shapes- scouts viewed many examples of art, created pieces of art of their own, discussed shapes, colors, and designs. Belt Loop- Art Wolves: Elective: Make it Yourself, Be an Artist Bears: Elective: a & c of Art Webelos: Artist Activity Badge: 4, 9 Craftsman Activity Badge: 1 item from #4 (duct tape wallets= very challenging) SCIENCE Science Activity Pin # 6 air pressure (hoover craft) # 8 build and launch a model rocket (made ones from film canisters) Tiger, Wolf, Bear: Had fun! Learned something new in science. Requirements for the Archery Sports Belt Loop Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts can earn the archery belt loop by participating in the archery safety program at Cub Scout camp. Complete these three requirements only at a council camp with a certified Cub Scout Archery shooting director present: 1. Explain the rules for safe archery that you have learned in the district/council camp or activity you are attending with your leader or adult partner.

Demonstrate to your leader or adult partner good archery shooting techniques, including the stance and how to nock the arrow, establish the bow, draw, aim, release, followthrough and retrieve arrows. 3. Practice shooting at your district or council camp for the time allowed. Requirements for the Archery Sports Pin Earn the Archery belt loop, and complete five of the following requirements only at a council camp with a certified Cub Scout Archery shooting director present. 1. Demonstrate how to properly use archery equipment, including arm guards, finger tabs, and quivers and explain about proper clothing. 2. Develop proficient shooting techniques by practicing for three hours. 3. Make a poster that emphasizes the four whistle codes. (Not a poster but can verbally explain the four whistle codes) 4. Shoot 30 arrows from a distance of 30 feet at a target and score at least 50 points. Loops and pins for BB Gun Shooting can be earned only in day camps, Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camps, council-managed family camping programs, or at council activities where there is properly trained supervision, and all guidelines for BSA shooting sports are implemented. BB Gun Shooting belt loops and pins cannot be earned at the pack, den, or individual level. To be a BSA range officer, an adult must attend a training program conducted by a National Camping School-certified field sports director or National Rifle Association (NRA) instructor. Requirements for the BB Gun Shooting Belt Loop 1. Explain the rules of safe BB gun shooting you have learned to your leader or adult partner. 2. Demonstrate to your leader or adult partner good BB gun shooting techniques, including eye dominance, shooting shoulder, breathing, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, follow through. 3. Practice shooting at your district or your council camp in the time allowed. Requirements for the BB Gun Shooting Pin Earn the BB Gun shooting belt loop and complete five of the following requirements: 1. Explain the parts of a BB gun and demonstrate how to properly load the gun. 2. Demonstrate the shooting positions. 3. Develop proficient shooting techniques by practicing for three hours. 4. Learn the correct scoring techniques for target BB gun shooting. 5. Make a poster that emphasizes the proper range commands. 6. Draw to scale or set up a BB gun shooting range.

3 7. Show improvement in your shooting ability with an increase in scoring points. 8. Help make a type of target for the camp BB gun shooting range. 9. Show how to put away and properly store BB gun shooting equipment after use. 10. Explain how to use the safety mechanism on a BB gun. 11. Tell five facts about the history of BB guns. Councils may provide extra opportunities for a boy and his adult partner to continue qualifying for a pin after the council camp experience is over. However, a certified range officer must be present for shooting credits to be valid. TEAM SPORTS/MINUTE TO WIN IT This station was just for fun activity! We hope you enjoyed our games.
