Comorbidities. Health status. Socioeconomic factors. Health consumption. Function Self-reported Chronic Low Back Pain n = 1336 Self-reported & screening Fibromyalgia n = 1445 Clinical observation: Rheumatologist Appointment Diagnosis validation Case definition: CLBP - having LBP in majority of time in at least 7 weeks FM - previous FM diagnosis or fulfillment of 2010 ACR diagnostic criteria (according to EpiReumaPt protocol) Study population Inclusion criteria: Participants with available information on LBP (Y/N) and FM symptoms self-reported questionnaire Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with previous Spa and concomitant CLBP and FM (self-reported)

8 Variables All analyses were weighted to ensure the correctly representativeness of the population.

9 Results Face to face interview results self reported prevalence n = CLBP n = ,7% * FM screening n = ,4% * * National weight was used

13 Conclusions. Portuguese self-reported prevalence of FM and CLBP is similar to other European countries.. FM patients have more burden with lower function and health status and more health consumption when compared to CLBP patients.. In Portugal, one in 10 patients with fibromyalgia are early retired due to RD.
