Thursday, 1 December Meet the group at the Swiss booth F40 at the IBTM WORLD in Barcelona for the Briefing Transfer with shuttle of IBTM WORLD from the fair to the airport and check-in Meet at the departure gate at Barcelona airport with a representative of the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (look out for the red Polo Shirt) Departure with Easyjet flight from Barcelona Arrival at Geneva airport. Meet with the SCIB representative at the baggage belt. Welcome by Mrs. Lucie Tinguely, Corporate Coordinator at Geneva Convention Bureau. Transfer to your hotel by bus Site inspection of the hotel Dinner at Bains des Paquis Restaurant at the lakeside of Geneva: In both summer and winter, the Bains des Pâquis provides a welcoming haven for sunlovers and those seeking rest. 8 Visit of the BFM - Bâtiment des Forces Motrices Constructed in 1886 on the River Rhone, the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices (BFM) former pumping station supplied the homes of Geneva with drinking water and the local industry with hydraulic power, as well as controlling the level of the lake. The building has been renovated into a warm, welcoming place where wood blends wonderfully with the metallic structures, completing the range of prestigious venues in Geneva city centre Lunch at la Potinière restaurant at the lake Nestled in the heart of the English Garden and right beside the lake, this spot ensures true relaxation! The highest mountain railway station in Europe with a restaurant in the Minergie-P standard sets standards for sustainability. Dive into the mystical Glacier Palace 15 meters below the surface or enjoy the panorama from the viewing platform: a breathtaking view of Italian, French and Swiss alpine giants from an altitude of 3,883 m. 9 Visit the highest seminar room at an altitude of 3,883 metres Lunch in the Matterhorn glacier paradise Lodge Take the gondolas down to the village VILLAGE GUIDED TOUR. Take a romantic stroll through the Hinterdorf, the oldest part of the village of Zermatt. There, you will see barns, stables and storage barns that were built between the 15th and the 19th century. Here you will also find the memorial fountain to the legendary Zermatt mountain guide Ulrich Inderbinen, who lived to 104 and who climbed the Matterhorn over 370 times MATTERHORN MUSEUM - ZERMATLANTIS. A visit to the museum is a must for every visitor to Zermatt. Under the glass dome of the former casino, next to the village church, a sunken world is being opened up underground: Zermatlantis. You can enter into the world of the old Zermatt without any interference. You are there as the people in the poor farmers' village try to ward off the forces of nature with God's help. As alpinists conquer their cosmos and as the death of four mountaineers during the first ascent of the Matterhorn changes life in Zermatt forever. If the flight has been confirmed or booked on a published fare, the cost of the flight will be charged. - Cancellations received after 28th October 2016 will incur a cancellation fee in addition to ibtm world cancellation fee of 400 (Europe, Russia & CIS) or 1000 (Non-Europe). The Switzerland Tourism Cancellation Fee is 300. Hosted Buyers who provide a valid medical reason (with a medical certificate) for not attending the event/pet may have the fee waived.
