For loads other than N (as stated in the charts) deflection is calculated by multiplying the figure of chart (K) by the following formula: f = K Q (applied load) N Max. moment of resistance MR MR 4,7 7,8,2,2 Ex: slide size, length 7 mm and load Q of N. On chart showing deflection with N load, we get coefficient 0,8 (marked with negative print), then: f = 0,8 = 2 mm The figure obtained must be added to the corresponding figure of the slide deflection under the 's own weight.
