Short-term counseling services are available on a sliding-scale fee (Brea residents: $15- $25, non-residents: $25-$35). We have moved away from our job postings and have moved to a weekly with new job leads. To sign up for this weekly , please call English Classes English as a Second Language Classes At the Brea Family Resource Center 695 E Madison Way, Brea, CA Free classes can help you learn the English language. Lessons are given each Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Brea Community Center. If you are a Brea resident who has difficulty speaking or understanding the English language, we invite you to join ESL classes and improve your English skills. Classes are funded by North Orange Community County College District, which means there is no charge to our ESL students. Sessions are held in a relaxed classroom where other students share the same goal. All materials are provided. No registration is required; walkins are welcome. Regardless of the first language you speak, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, etc., this class is for you.

7 Brea Resources Housing Home Buyer Assistance Program City of Brea 1 Civic Center Circle, Brea, CA The City has in effect an Affordable Housing Ordinance, which requires most new residential developments to provide at least 10% of their units for sale at affordable below-market prices to qualified buyers. To participate, applicants must be able to pay at least three percent of the purchase price toward the down payment and related closing costs, and the applicant s income must fall within maximum annual income guidelines. Low & Moderate Income Rent Programs City of Brea 1 Civic Center Circle, Brea, CA Several apartment complexes in Brea offer rents that are lower than market rate.
