G. a P.G. Classes (CBCS) Average Class Atteance of Sem. Average Marks to be in% of actual lectures delivered given of Atteance 50.00% - cut off point for appear in Uni. Each course will be assessed on e basis of 100 marks. The marks would be divided between internal a external assessment. 16) There shall be one e semester external examination of each course in every semester consisting of 70% (70 marks) weightage in eory a practical courses. Each Theory & Practical course shall have internal assessment of 30% (30 marks) weightage based on e following. (CC,SE-I a SE-II) Internal Written test - 15% (15Marks) Assignment - 05% (5 Marks) Presentation/Seminars/Quizzes - 05% (5 Marks) Atteance - 05% (5 Marks) For compulsory English & Iian Languages (Sanskrit) e Internal Shall be for 25 marks (internal written test) + 5 marks for Atteance. 17) The minimum passing staa will be 36% for e external a internal component of each course, i.e. 25 marks out of 70 a 11 marks out of 30. Every students will be required to pass e external examination a internal examination separately in each course. 18) Failed caidates in e Internal examination are permitted to improve eir internal examination marks in e subsequent semesters (2 chances will be given) by writing test. 19) Students have to submit an Assignment (Wi Roll No., Subject a paper No.) to concern Professor in 8 to 10 full scap pages in CC, SE-1 a SE-2. 20) A caidate shall be eligible for e conferment of e Degree of bachelor of Arts (Honours) only if he / she has earned e minimum required credits for e programme prescribed erefore (i.e. 156 credits). 21) Any student fou using unfair means, as per College a University rules a also as per relevant oinances, during an internal test, shall be given zero marks in e concerned paper/s. In case marks in oer papers, are more an passing in e final mark sheet, including atteance marks, ey shall be reduced to minimum passing as punishment for malpractice a unfair means. 22) No Admission shall be given to any student in e Seco/Four/Six semester of current academic year who shall have not atteed 50% of total number of actual lectures delivered in e first/i/fif semester a e University examination form shall be widrawn in all cases where atteance of e student is below 50%. 23) Out of total internal evaluation marks, 5 marks per paper have been reserved for atteance.
