Data and information in the industrial IoT will be generated predominantly by more and better sensors. 3. Data and Information available through the IoT will first be used to optimize and automate existing industrial processes. 4. Data and information will later be used to develop and establish completely new industrial business processes. 5. As a consequence all companies have to develop their own digital agenda to cope with the rapidly changing business environment.
