8 Note: The Shipworker was a weekly publication the put out for the Brooklyn Navy Yard workers. The first issue in November 1941 coincided with an influx of workers. Inside the paper, there were pictures and stories of yard people and events along with editorials that stressed the values or responsibility and teamwork. -8-
