5 If You Require Medical Attention... Students traveling to international locations are required to enroll in the university s HTH Worldwide Supplemental Study Abroad Health Insurance. You will be ed your insurance card as a PDF prior to your departure. Please carry this insurance card with you at all times. To learn more about HTH Worldwide benefits and services, log on to: hthstudents.com. You ll need to enter your personal HTH Worldwide ID number, which is on your insurance card. Your parents can also access information about HTH Worldwide by logging on to: hthparents.com

6 International Travel Appointment It s important to review your health concerns before you travel abroad and to familiarize yourself with special health and medical needs for the country you are visiting. Consider scheduling an International Travel Appointment at the Wilce Student Health Center (or your personal physician). discuss health concerns and issues that pertain to your destination determine if any vaccinations are necessary while traveling abroad To schedule your International Travel Appointment, call the Ohio State Student Health Center at (614) Please review health information about your host country from the Center for Disease Control website.

7 U.S. Embassy Registration Every Ohio State student who is a U.S. citizen and traveling to international locations for the purpose of study abroad, internship, research, and/or independent study is required to register with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate through the U.S. Department of State's Smart Traveler Registration Program. Registration will make your presence and whereabouts known in case it is necessary to contact you in an emergency. In accordance with the FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), information on your welfare and whereabouts generally may not be released without your express authorization. Registration is voluntary and costs nothing and should be a part of your travel planning and security. For useful information on traveling abroad as students, consult the State Department website.

8 Course Registration/Pre-Requisites Do not attempt to self-register for your courses Module 1: International Labor Relations and Human Resources, BUSMHR 4321, 3 semester credits, prerequisites waived Module 2: Global Marketing, BUSML 4253, 1.5 semester credits Prerequisite course: BUSML 650 Principles of Marketing; International Business, BUSMHR 2000 (previously BUS 555), 1.5 semester credits, prerequisites waived Students will be enrolled in special sections of courses listed above Students must have competed prerequisite course prior to going in-country.
