2 Online Ordering HOW TO ORDER YOUR ASOS LABELS ASOS place orders for barcode labels, reference: AS BAR 1 on behalf of all their suppliers; once an order is placed a confirmation will be sent to you notifying you of a pending order which you will need to confirm on our website At the same time as confirming your barcodes you will also be able to order your care labels if required, via the basket system see below, branded suppliers do not usually require ASOS care labels but check with your ASOS buyer if you are unsure. Byways are happy to discuss any own brand label requirements that you may have. AS FROM THE WEDNESDAY 14/08/2013 BYWAYS WOULD LIKE TO ADVISE OF THE FOLLOWING NEW OR AMENDED FUNCTIONS: YOU CAN NOW RE ORDER BARCODES USING THE CREATE BARCODE LABEL ORDER FROM A PREVIOUS ORDER NUMBER FUNCTION FOUND IN PLACE AN ORDER IF YOUR ORDERS INCLUDE A PO THAT REQUIRES MULTIPLE CARE LABELS, THESE ARE NOW EASIER TO ORDER SEE PAGE 9 OF THE GUIDE
3 BYWAYS NOW OFFER THE OPPORTUNTITY TO PLACE YOUR ORDERS USING A BASKET SYSTEM. THE BASKET OPTION ASSUMES ALL ORDERS PLACED TOGETHER IN A BASKET WILL BE DESPATCHED TOGETHER, TO THE BEST OF BYWAY S ABILITY. IF YOU REQUIRE STOCK ORDERS TO BE DESPATCHED PRIOR TO PRINTED LABEL ORDERS PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDERS ON THE WEBSITE SEPARATELY TO REFLECT THIS. BYWAYS WILL CONTINUE TO SEND AN AFTER EACH ORDER IS PLACED ADVISING THE ANTICIPATED DESPATCH DATE. Gaining access to the Byways Asos.com web ordering page Each supplier will require a login and password to access the web ordering system; if you do not have access to the website you will need to request a username and password for your account. Please contact customer_services@byways.co.uk who will issue these to you. Now let s get going and have a look at what s in store for you
4 Information required to log onto the website Logon to the website: Enter your username and password into the relevant boxes and click Login which will take you to the main menu.
5 Main menu To confirm Barcode Orders select Confirm orders To place an order for any other labels without confirming Barcodes or to re-order Barcodes select Place an order To track orders already placed select Order Tracking To view products available select Products To update your password or address, select Your details To update your address book select Address Book
6 Confirming your orders From here the website will lead you through the process of confirming your order; please refer to the green labels to the left of your screen for help. To confirm your barcodes, click on any word on the line containing the relevant ASOS PO. To delete an order permanently click on the delete icon.
7 Please confirm Your Order Reference - this is an identifier of your own choosing. Please confirm who this order is For Attention Of within your business. Amend the quantities per size if necessary.
8 You will then have the opportunity to order further products using the drop down box and search engine: Follow the instructions in the green boxes to the left hand side of the screen to complete your subsequent orders
9 If your additional orders include a PO that requires multiple care labels to cover different fibres or colourways use the check boxes beside the various colourways to make your selections. If it require the label to states that your product is Part Of a Set use the drop down menu to make this selection.
10 When entering the fibre content you will only be able to select from the ASOS approved fibre and headers list; as you start entering the fibre/header the approved wording will automatically appear for you to select the correct one. If you require for example Lining: select Heading from the drop down box and enter your requirement (see example below). If you cannot find the wording required in either fibres or headings then it does not form part of the approved list and you will need to check with your ASOS buyer how to proceed. If the fibre content for each line does not total 100% the website will show an error message allowing you to amend accordingly.
11 IF YOU REQUIRE STOCK ORDERS TO BE DESPATCHED BEFORE PRINTED LABEL ORDERS PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDERS SEPARATELY TO REFLECT THIS. BYWAYS WILL CONTINUE TO SEND AN AFTER EACH ORDER IS PLACED ADVISING THE ANTICIPATED DESPATCH DATE. You will then be able to proceed to the checkout where you can view/print your orders if required, before you confirm your Invoice and Despatch address details. You can amend the despatch address but not the invoice address, this is selected by ASOS and if it is incorrect please advise your ASOS buyer and ask them to re-raise the order correctly. Please note you must click the Confirm Orders button to move your orders into production.
