7 Make your own paper DREIDEL Instructions: 1. Color in the dreidel and decorate it with sparkles, stickers or whatever you like. 2. Carefully cut out the thick outline of the dreidel. (Be careful not cut off any of the tabs. Ask an adult for help first) 3. Cut an X shape in the circle on the top of the dreidel. 4. Fold along the thin lines to make the dreidel shape. For better folds, score the lines by lightly running a scissors or a pen along the thin lines. 5. To close the 4 sides of the dreidel, fold along the line between the hay and gimmel. On the tab attached to the hay, put a piece of tape or glue. Then press the shin side onto that tab. Once the four sides are connected, it is easier to tape or glue the tabs at the bottom, pointy part of the dreidel. The final step is to close the top by tucking the top tabs into their slots: match tab A to slot A and so on. You can tape or glue the tabs to hold them in place. 6. Place a straw, stick or rolled up piece of paper into the X to make the spinner stick.
