CAD/CAM technology is utilized throughout the entire design and build process. All areas of machining contain CNC equipment. Our CNC jig grinders, surface grinders, lathes, and machining centers, as well as our conventional and wire EDM machines assure accuracy and repeatability on every job we do. Our mold makers are among the best in their industry. As part of Overton Moldʼs employment requirements, all of our mold makers are required to have at least ten years of mold making experience or must enter and complete the mold making apprenticeship program. We pride ourselves on the level of experience and training our mold makers possess. We feel that the combination of the latest equipment and the skill of our mold makers will guarantee customer satisfaction. 7 Our equipment, along with crane and trucking capabilities, enables us to build molds up to 50,000 pounds. Overton Mold can provide our customers with inspection fixtures to check molded parts throughout the production process. A5736 ISO 9001 Overton Mold s quality assurance department is equipped with a DCC CMM capable of digitizing and reverse engineering to develop part geometry when prints are incomplete or not available. The quality department also utilizes calibrated gauging and equipment to ensure we meet blueprint specifications. Quality is assured in-process and at final inspection with CMM. PAGE 5

8 Our facility was designed specifically for building and repairing injection and compression mold tooling. We are capable of machining and trucking molds up to 40,000 pounds, but still retain the ability to build smaller molds. PAGE 6

9 Appliances repair Repair and engineering change work are a large part of the service Overton Mold provides for our customers. We are available to repair tooling for you 24 hours a day, and we provide pick-up and delivery as an extension of that service. Our Faro Arm portable CMM allows us to take information from your existing mold and make the appropriate repairs or changes. We also have the ability to take information from your mold on-site and begin the process before your mold even leaves your facility. This allows you to continue to use the mold while we do the engineering. In-process and on-site checking is now possible with the company s new FARO ARM portable CMM.
