1 Brand Guidelines

2 Brand Guidelines Corporate brand identity guidelines are the corner stones for building a strong brand and image of a company. They are the foundation for a clear, consistent and coherent communication. These guidelines are intended to clarify and streamline the basic rules of designing with reproducing the Hanwha L&C Surfaces brand and the primary product brands HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces along with their respective collection brand identities. In order to gain maximum benefit from these guidelines, they must be used consistently, as even minor variations will undermine and compromise their impact. 3 Brand Hierarchy Corporate Communications Hanwha Living and Creative Corporation (Hanwha L&C Corp.) has grown to become a brand that enhances the standard of living. This logo is to be used to establish the corporate identity. Product Brands HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces are product brands of Hanwha Surfaces, a division of Hanwha L&C. These logos are designed to identify the product brand and identify Hanwha Surfaces as the umbrella brand for all surfacing products. 1 Product Brand Collections: Both HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces are made up of multiple collections. This logo lockup establishes a clear relationship between the product brands and their respective collections.

11 Logo Hierarchy Product-oriented marketing pieces should be focused on HanStone Quartz or Hanex Solid Surfaces. These logos should take the lead using the by Hanwha Surfaces signature whenever possible. The Hanwha L&C Surfaces logo should be used as a secondary logo to identify them as the company that produces the product being marketed. 9

12 Typeface Options These typefaces were selected and combined to create an upscale, approachable brand personality. Each should be used for its designated purpose to create a consistent look and feel in all Hanwha Surfaces communications.
