5 Wetland Habitat Goal: To protect and improve a diversity of habitats for wetland wildlife in each major river drainage: Objectives: Acquire and restore 4 new wetland areas (24,400 acres) Expand 6 existing wetland areas (12,000 acres) Restore existing wetland areas (27,000 acres) Management assistance on private wetlands (38,700 acres) Restore additional private wetlands (12,400 acres) Support NAWMP initiatives in the PPR
