3 SELECT PROJECT DETAILS DEVELOPING A LEADERSHIP PIPELINE AT AIRTEL Airtel is a leading telecommunication provider that was focusing on developing the competencies of its second level leadership. The project saw the development of a flagship leadership competency development programme that was aligned to Airtel s existing competency framework. ACCELERATING SALES IN A CHALLENGING ECONOMY : HONGKONG AND SHANGHAI BANK AND HATTON NATIONAL BANK A key highlight for the year was the sales and relationship management training conducted for HSBC direct sales staff and Premier Relationship Managers. The project saw the design and delivery of a customized training programme that looked at increasing sales volumes for cards and other financial products. The most challenging aspect of the up-skilling programme was the highly customized customer relationship management approach developed for the HSBC Premier Staff that handles portfolio's in excess of 500 Million LKR. The Programme was one the highlights of the year in terms of outcome and post training results. In 2014 Dananjaya took on sales training for Hatton National Bank one of Sri Lanka s largest commercial banks. Focusing on increasing sales he has been scheduled to train over 1000 members of the bank s sales force. The project saw the development of a customized selling process which is being institutionalized within the organization. EXECUTIVE COACHING FOR STANDARD CHARTERED BANK SRI LANKA Another rewarding project that delivered on results was a tailor made communication coaching programme for the top tier of Standard Chartered Sri Lanka. The project focused on developing specific communication competencies for five tier-1 Executives of the Bank with real time applicative exercises and projects built into the programme. The participants were able to develop engaging presentations and interpersonal communication behaviour that were demonstrated during town-hall meetings, board meetings and client meetings The project adopted a co-creation approach where in-house experts collaborated on aligning the programme towards meeting specific behaviours detailed in the organization's skill-matrix. The programme had an approval rating of over 96%
