2 WHAT IS EPCR FOR IPAD? epcr for ipad is an electronic patient care reporting app that allows you to easily and accurately collect data so you can focus on your patient, not a report. The app on the ipad consists of pages to collect information about the patient, the scene, insurance information, signatures, and more. It creates an electronic PCR that can be ed, printed, or faxed. The Admin side is browser-based and allows administrators to customize the app by eliminating unnecessary data, customizing field labels, and adding new users. Most of the Admin features are also available on the ipad. epcr for ipad runs online or offline. Reports can be created and edited regardless of whether an internet connection is available. All data is stored locally on the ipad until a connection is detected at that point, all the data is automatically synchronized and shared with your colleagues. All reports are stored for you and can be accessed from the Admin side at any time. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EPCR FOR IPAD? Set up your agency by registering here: You will set up your Agency Name, User ID, and Password. Download the app for free by searching for epcr for ipad in Apple s App Store. 3 CAN I TRY OUT THE APP? Yes. Download the app for free, launch it, and click the Demo button. In Demo mode, you are not able to customize the fields or access the Admin portion. HOW MUCH DOES EPCR FOR IPAD COST? The app is free to download. Agency set up is free. Upgrades are free. Support is free. Your credit card is charged monthly at a rate of $2 for each report you create and $0.20 (20 cents) for each report you fax. CAN I USE THE APP ON MY PHONE OR ANDROID DEVICE? No. epcr for ipad runs exclusively on an ipad. Any ipad model will work, including the ipad mini. CAN I SEE REPORTS ON THE ADMIN SIDE IN THE BROWSER? Open reports can be seen and edited on the ipad. Closed reports and open reports can be viewed on the Admin side in the browser, but not modified. From the Admin side, closed reports can be reopened for modification in the app. IS EPCR FOR IPAD NEMSIS COMPLIANT? epcr for ipad contains the complete NEMSIS 2.21 data set. We are currently in the process of becoming NEMSIS 2 certified. And, we are working towards NEMSIS 3 compliance. CAN I VALIDATE MY REPORT FOR NEMSIS? Yes. NEMSIS 2 validation can be completed by Incident Type for your reports. The app will display the NEMSIS 2 validation errors so you can correct them before completing the report. CAN I CREATE AN EXTRACT TO SEND TO MY BILLING COMPANY? Yes. From the Admin side, a billing extract can be created. Please contact us if you need an extract for a billing company other than those listed and we will work with you and the billing company to create a proper extract. epcr for ipad FAQs 3

4 CAN I SUBMIT REPORTS TO MY STATE? For some states, yes. We have completed some state reporting. Please us at pcrfeedback@inspiringapps.com to see if your state is included, or when it is scheduled for inclusion. CAN I USE EPCR FOR IPAD FOR EMT AND PARAMEDIC TRAINING? Yes. We have a number of schools and colleges that use epcr for ipad to train future EMTs and Paramedics. We do not charge by report for education use. Please contact us for education pricing: pcr@inspiringapps.com I DO NOT LIVE IN THE US AND WANT TO USE THE APP. CAN I? Yes. Our address fields can accept international addresses. OUR AGENCY IS SMALL. CAN WE USE THE APP? Yes. The number of runs our customers complete each month ranges from ten to thousands. There is no minimum or maximum agency size to benefit most from the app. THE IPAD SEEMS FRAGILE? WILL IT BREAK ON RUNS? The ipad is fragile on its own, but there are many cases available to ensure that it can withstand heavy use. We recommend OtterBox to our customers. HOW DO I REQUEST AN ENHANCEMENT TO THE APP? Please us at: pcrfeedback@inspiringapps.com. We are continually improving the app and look to our customers for enhancements they d like to see. Please submit your feature requests to us! At a minimum, we release new features quarterly. WHAT IS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY? We respond within one business day to all inquiries. For urgent issues during business hours, our response time is typically within an hour or less. Our ability to implement bug fixes is dependent on the bug s severity and Apple s approval process. We have two staff members who provide Tier 1 support and two staff members providing Tier 2 support. We are available from 8AM - 6PM Mountain Time, Monday through Friday. epcr for ipad FAQs 4

5 WHO CREATED EPCR FOR IPAD? epcr for ipad was created and is enhanced by InspiringApps. We operate out of downtown Boulder, Colorado. HOW DO YOU KEEP SENSITIVE PATIENT DATA SECURE? We protect our customers data and consider this protection a serious responsibility. We do this through: data encryption on the ipad and on the server, and SSL used for data transfer between the ipad and the server. AM I ABLE TO FAX A REPORT? Yes. Fax integration allows users to fax reports directly from the ipad for 20 cents per page. CAN I ATTACH A PHOTO TO MY REPORT? Yes.
