3 MASTLESS SNOW WING The mastless design of the Brandt Snow Wing provides operator s with unsurpassed visibility and greater control. This innovative Snow Wing was designed exclusively for John Deere Motor Graders and puts superior performance and unmatched safety at the forefront. Innovative mastless design provides an incredible 38 of bench height to allow the operator outstanding visibility without compromising benching abilities. True parallel lift with single lever control provides the operator with superior command of the snow wing. A heavy duty lift cylinder along with strategically located lift points maximize wing lifting force even when the blade is under load. The mastless front mount configuration provides a safer working environment with excellent operator sightlines and the ability to open both cab doors. Mechanical float features allow for travel at both the toe and the heel of the wing for smooth operation. The toe float function can be locked out to give the operator positive downward pressure on the blade. The hydraulic push pole uses a heavy duty constant rate spring to provide excellent shock absorption and minimize vibration on the motor grader. A manual push pole option is available. The huge 2 main pivot bolt and internal ribs of the moldboard are designed to support the additional forces the snow wing encounters at these high stress pivot areas. All pivot areas are made of high strength, wear resistant material for added durability and longevity. 4 ONE WAY PLOW Brandt One Way Plows are effective snow clearing attachments for trouble free, high speed plowing. Moldboard is designed with a tight curvature and large open ended discharge for effective snow rolling and casting characteristics. Heavy duty plow frame structure is built to last and withstand severe winter conditions. A 12ft moldboard angled at 35 degrees effectively clears a 10 foot path to not only ensure the total width of the grader tires are covered but delivers unsurpassed productivity and snow casting characteristics. Plow can be outfitted with either two wheels or two skid shoes, which are both adjustable to suit specific plowing needs and maximize cutting edge life. An adjustable spring trip mechanism allows the moldboard to easily skip over obstacles and then spring back to the road to avoid any serious damage to the plow. A high strength, abrasive resistant nose shoe is the first point of contact to cut through hard packed snow and get the snow rolling in and out of the plow. This nose shoe can also be used as a curb runner to easily remove snow alongside a curb. Full length rubber deflector confines snow within the moldboard profile and limits snow blow-by for improved visibility. Manual (standard) or hydraulic (option) pitch control allows the operator to easily adjust the fore/aft pitch of the moldboard up to 7.5 degrees to adapt for variable snow conditions and applications. Heavy duty lift chains and shackles attach to the lug frame to support the entire blade group, and allow unlimited adjustability for plowing and transport positions. The HD plow frame center pivot allows for 20 degrees of oscillation to follow uneven road conditions during plowing. The plow s vertical float feature can be locked out to provide positive down pressure to more effectively plow in hard packed snow conditions. 5 V-PLOW Brandt V-Plows are designed for opening up harsh winter roads by breaking up hard packed snow and providing a ten foot initial path to get the work started. Aggressive plow curvature promotes snow rolling and increases snow casting characteristics. Heavy duty frame structure is built to withstand hard continuous impacts. A replaceable nose shoe on the leading edge of the plow cuts through hard packed snow and gets the snow rolling up the plow and off the road. Three adjustable skid shoes provide additional support to the blade and extend the cutting edge service life. Replaceable high strength, abrasive resistant bolt on cutting edges are used to prevent excess wear to the base edge and extend plow life. BRANDT MOTOR GRADER ATTACHMENTS 5

6 OTHER MOTOR GRADER ATTACHMENTS Front Lift Groups Brandt Front Lift Groups allow for the easy addition of attachments to the front of your John Deere Motor Grader. Available in a wide range of configurations including direct pin on, manual quick coupler or hydraulic quick coupler. Turn buckle mechanical adjustment provides true parallel lift and allows for fine-tuned pitch adjustment if required. Bolts easily to the nose or push block of your Deere motor grader. Clean and protected hose routing prevents hoses from being snagged and damaged. Hardened steel pins ensure longevity. In the direct pin on configuration attachments are changed easily by removing four connecting pins which couple the attachment to the front lift group. Add the Manual Quick Coupler option to use the 4 hook lugging and two connecting pins to speed up the changeover process. For even more convenience, add the Hydraulic Quick Coupler option and actuate the connecting pins hydraulically from the convenience of the cab. Hydraulic Angle Blade Brandt Hydraulic Angle Blades are used for snow removal and light dozing applications. Material flow can be hydraulically controlled from the cab with the ability to rotate 30 degrees in either direction. A proven blade profile offers superior material rolling and casting characteristics along with excellent operator visibility for increased safety, accuracy and efficiency. A relief valve protects the cylinders from pressure spikes created when an obstruction is encountered. Reversible double bevel bolt on edges with grading style end bits are used for long life cycle. Adjustable skid shoes are made of high strength, abrasive resistant material to minimize cutting edge wear and improve grading control. An available oscillation float option offers +/- 3 degrees of mechanical float for added precision as the blade follows the contours of the ground. An integrated jack stand in the angle frame offers the convenience of properly supporting the blade group after disengagement from the wheel loader. Straight Blade Brandt Straight Blades are a cost effective solution for snow removal or light dozing. 7 Manual Angle Blade Brandt Manual Angle Blades are used for snow removal and light dozing applications. Material flow can be adjusted to angle 25 degrees in either direction or remain in a fixed straight position. A proven blade profile offers superior material rolling and casting characteristics along with excellent operator visibility for increased safety, accuracy and efficiency. Reversible double bevel bolt on edges with grading style end bits are used for long life cycle. Adjustable skid shoes are made of high strength, abrasive resistant material to minimize cutting edge wear and improve grading control. Adjustments to the blade angle can be made quickly and easily using the pin and angle link system. Available in various sizes and lugging configurations to provide the best solution possible. U/V Angle Blade Brandt U/V blades are designed with versatility in mind by offering multiple blade configurations in order to easily adapt to various jobs and conditions. The center pivot allows the blade to hydraulically adjust to form a 240 degree V-blade, 120 degree U-blade, angle 30 degrees left or right, or run straight; all from the convenience of the cab. An integrated mechanical stop is used to easily lock or unlock 3 degrees of blade oscillation, allowing the blade to be used in multiple ground conditions and blading requirements. The unique pivot joint employs a robust, greased piano-hinge design and an abrasion resistant center skid shoe to prevent material bypass in all blade angle configurations. All of the required hydraulic functions are incorporated into a single manifold valve which vastly improves hose routing and eliminates the need to mount additional valves or accumulators on the tractor. The standard offering is able to easily convert from non-floating to a floating blade all with an innovative spacer design. This opens the blade to multiple applications as opposed to being strictly a float or non-float model. A proven blade profile offers superior material rolling and casting characteristics along with excellent operator visibility for increased safety, accuracy and efficiency. An integrated jack stand in the angle frame offers the convenience of properly supporting the blade group after disengagement from the wheel loader.
