5 PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT TALUM Location: former landfill, revitalization area, added value of land. Source: Talum
6 Size 949,9 kw p currently the second largest solar power plant in Slovenia. Gained electrical energy supply of 300 households and the consequent reduction of CO 2 for 900 t/year. Schedules : preparation of the project from March 2009, project implementation September 2009 to December Talum offers per realization of PV power stations of turn-key: land (favourable rent or purchase), infrastructure, staff for realization of project engineering, manufacture and installation of carrier under construction, operational control, maintenance and facility protection.

10 Meaning of project for Talum - continued investment in renewable resources, the final revitalization in the past shattered territory, new knowledges, project engineering, human resources engagement. Continuity of investment in renewable resources in a collaborative project. Marketing knowledge and experience gained in this field - the execution of project engineering and supervision of similar projects, manufacture, supply and installation of supporting steel substructures. Partnership Project (partners provide financial resources; Talum the land, infrastructure, staffs to carry out project engineering, manufacture and installation of a carrier under construction). Talum - green energy sources (biomass, solar, waste heat sources).

20 MUNICIPALITY OF VELENJE The municipality of Velenje (MOV) is located in the eastern part of the Šaleška dolina valley. The central part of the municipality is situated on the plain along the Paka river. The entire V-plain of the Šaleška dolina valley has been urbanised, as over the last 50 years the town fifth largest in Slovenia. The heart of the municipality is the town of Velenje, a predominantly industrial centre (Gorenje, Premogovnik Velenje, Vegrad, Esotech, ), which is fast becoming the hub of the Savinjsko- Šaleška regija region with highly developed trade and other administrative, educational and other business sectors. Velenje has the status of a municipality.

24 TODAY SITUACION ON THE FIELD OF PV PP Energy Act: Encourages use of solar energy thermal and PV (RES), simplification of bureaucratic procedures for implementation of PV power plant (PV PP), feed in tariffs (each year decreasing 7% of price per kwh). Problem of unclear procedures for implementation and registration of PV PP Is the planning permission needed for PV PP? static calculation yes,, different interpretations on the status of PV PP: is it a device or energy facility, all procedures will be clarified soon.
