APPLIES TO: Production and Inspection for Aluminium PURPOSE PAGE 1 OF 5 This specification covers production and inspection for aluminium foil products and describes the quality attributes of the foil rolls. OBJECTIVE To establish definitive quality standards on foil rolls, thereby minimizing claims attributable to any lack of understanding between supplier and customer. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITION Applicable GB/T test methods will be observed. Composition will meet Aluminum Association limits: Alloy Si Fe (Si+Fe):0.65 Cu Mn Chemical Mg Composition Cr (%Maximun) Zn Ti Others V:0.05 Al Remainder PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A. General covered herein is 8011/1235 alloy aluminum master rolls at specified gauges of mm nominal thickness. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS A. Temper As specified on the purchase order. B. Width As specified on the purchase order with a tolerance of +/- 1.0mm. C. Gauge As specified on the purchase order with a tolerance of +/- 5%. D. Mechanical Properties:

Roll edge defects: a) Edges shall be commercially free of dents, nicks, slits, fractures and stickiness which might cause faulty unwind or web breaks. b) Edges shall be free of slivers and aluminum dust. G. Oscillation or telescoping/dishing Lap to lap weave shall not exceed 0.8 mm. H. Splices: All splices to be ultrasonic. Roll diameter,mm 400 >400 Maximum splices 1 2 I. Sheet shape and roll put-up shall be essentially flat, free of stretched edges, bellies or wrinkles. J. Surface characteristics a) The foil shall be commercially free of tears, splits, slivers, fractures, cuts, fingerprints, insects, dust, dirt and other foreign materials consistent with good production practices. b) Web shall be free of corrosion and staining (oil or water). c) shall be matte one side. The matte surface shall be uniformly dull with no streaks or broken matte. d) Surface shall be free of herringbone or chatter marks. e) Web to be essentially free of roll holes, etc. f) Wettability Grade A for O temper.

Quantities As specified on the purchase order with a tolerance of +/- 10% unless otherwise stated on the order. B. Packaging rolls are to be packed in wood container as specified in such a manner that normal handling by common carrier will ensure safe transportation without damage to the foil. This includes wrapping to protect the foil from water stain and corrosion. C. Identification Each roll shall be identified with the following: a) Customer b) Order number
