3 WEDDING PACKAGE The Adair Arms has created the ideal package for every Bride and Groom on their Wedding Day. The following is provided Red carpet on arrival Compliment champagne on arrival at the hotel Illustrated table plan Personal management attention throughout your day Complimentary overnight stay for the Bride and Groom with breakfast in bed Jugs of orange cordial and iced water on each table Complimentary centrepieces chose from candelabras or floral arrangements Back drop light curtain Complimentary room hire for your reception Table linen and napkins Cake stand and knife Chair covers and sash (supplied by Leaf Design) Top table fresh floral arrangement Access to Mrs Glynns Gardens We can also recommend Ten 21/Stephen Neeson as your photographer, Leaf Design as your florist and Champagne Moments for limosine and car hire. 7 For your guests Speeches & Toasts Our wedding co-ordinator following the receiving line, will ask guests to be upstanding to greet their Bride and Groom. She will then call upon the nominated person to say Grace before the meal, if the main speeches are not first. Otherwise she will call upon the Best Man to continue with the speeches Our wedding co-ordinator will also announce the cutting of the cake following the dessert course. Speeches are made in the following order The Best Man calls upon the Bride s Father or Family Representative to speak, who proposes a toast to the Bride and Groom The Best Man then calls upon the Groom to reply. The Groom will thank the parents of the Bride, thank the guests for their kind gifts and then propose a toast to the Bridesmaids The Best Man replies on behalf of the Brides maids, and calls the Groom s Father to say a few words. The Best Man may then call upon the Clergyman to speak before he opens the floor to other guests Finally the Best Man or Groomsman will read any cards or telegrams
8 Your Calendar Final arrangements Approximately 8 weeks prior to your wedding, it is advisable to make an appointment with a member of the management team to discuss your final arrangements. In advance of reception 1-3 years Book your reception at the Adair Arms Arrange your wedding ceremony with your minister, priest or registrar 1-2 years Compile guest list and choose bridal party Have fittings for your dress and bridesmaids dresses Book Wedding cars, Photographer/Video company and Entertainment 1 year Order Stationary and Cake Book Honeymoon; Buy rings 3 months Buy the presents for your attendants Organise all wedding flowers and gift list 2 months Confirm reception details with hotel Post wedding invitations the make a list of acceptances and refusals as they come in Send thank you letters for wedding presents received 1 Month Make final checks with all bookings 2 Weeks Contact the Adair Arms with your final Numbers 1 Week Make final checks with the hotel The Day Before your Wedding Arrange to have the following taken to the hotel Luggage Seating Plan &Place Cards Cake Flowers Favours Guest Signature Book Gifts Now everything is organised, relax and enjoy the Best Day of Your Life
9 Booking Terms & Conditions Booking Procedure A provisional booking will be held for a period of FOURTEEN Days after which time it will be released should we not receive a deposit payment. Our standard deposit is 200 this will be required to secure your reservation. A further deposit of 300 becomes payable 6 months before the date of your function. Both are non-refundable and non-transferable for your function must be received 21 days prior to the date of the event. Final Numbers Final numbers and seating plan should be confirmed 48 hours before the event. Prices All prices quoted in this brochure are inclusive of Value Added Tax at the current rate of 20% and are subject to change. All banqueting charges must be cleared on the day of the function without exception. Payment can be made using one of the following methods o Cash o Bankers Draft made payable to E&C Inns Ltd. o Credit Card a surcharge of 2½% will be applied for this method o Debit Card Food & Beverage No food or beverages may be brought onto the premises for. consumption by the client or their guests. It is not the policy of the hotel to permit corkage Accommodation Complimentary overnight accommodation for the Bride and Groom is based on the event accommodating 50 guests and over Should the hotel, for reasons beyond its control, need to make any amendments to your reservation, we reserve the right to offer an alternative choice of facility The hotel may cancel your booking if: - The booking might, in the opinion of the hotel, prejudice the reputation of the hotel - Scheduled payments are not received by the hotel by the agreed date The client assumes responsibility for damage caused by them or their guests, or any other persons attending the function. The hotel reserves the right to approve any external entertainment or activities which you have arranged, and cannot accept liability for any result on costs. The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, service, food and beverages as a result of events outside its control
