5 Microbiology/ Infection Control/OSHA Standards Approximate Time: 3 weeks. 3rd 3 weeks Students will practice standards and guidelines of occupational safety for dental personnel by utilizing regulations in the OSHA/CDC Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and in its Hazard Communication Standard. Students will evaluate the importance of this knowledge to the study of dental health care. Students will demonstrate the correct flossing technique.
