5 PARAMETER T THE NEW TEMPORARY WAVE FRONTIER PARAMETER T Soft revolution is a temporary waving mousse with delicate action, without ammonia and without Thioglycolates. It is based on Cysteamine. PARAMETER T gives hair a natural and soft movement that will last from 20 to 30 days depending on the type of hair.

6 THE MECHANISM AND ACTION OF CYSTEAMINE. CYSTEAMINE IS A NATURAL ACTIVE INGREDIENT DERIVED FROM THE CYSTEAMINE AMINOACID. IT FORMS AN IMPORTANT STRUCTURAL ELEMENT OF THE HAIR KREATIN. CYSTEAMINE CREATES AND MAINTAINS THE FORM IN A GENTLE WAY, RESPECTING THE HAIR STRUCTURE. Disulfide bridge is preserved and even enriched by the new links formed by Cysteamine. The neutralization phase is eliminated. It is not necessary to reconstruct links that have never been broken but just stretched.

7 IMPORTANT STEPS FOR A PERFECT RESULT PREPERATION Cleanse the hair with Shampoo and Conditioner Easy Care, Appropriate to the hair structure (see chart). WRAPPING Before wrapping spray Miracle Lightweight on the hair. It helps to untangle and preps the hair for the service. The size of curlers and the wrapping tension will be fundamentally important to the final result. APPLICATION Parameter T waving mousse is simply Grandiose. When applying it exits the can, while holding upside down, expanding into a perfumed mousse, which then disappears going into liquid, penetrating the hair. Apply it carefully to every curler. We recommend to do the application at the shampoo bowl. PROCESSING TIME This is a crucial part. Please check several times according to the instructions on the chart. RINSE The hair has to be rinsed thoroughly for at least 10 minutes. Set Timer!!!! There is no neutralization step. DRYING After you have applied Twist Up or another Artègo finish product, use a hair dryer with a diffuser. Elasticity The ability of the hair to stretch and to return its natural shape. Consistency The size of the hair. FINE - MEDIUM - THICK Choosing Curler Preparation and processing time Density This Parameter is useful to determine the desired curl/wave, in relation to the selected curler. Length Important for choosing which curler to use and which technique to use. Hair Growth Direction Indicates the wave direction of virgin hair. It s important to keep in mind the natural shape of the hair and to set the curlers not in any opposite direction.. The selection of the curler and its diameter are important to obtain the desired shape and movement. 9 Preparation of the service 1.Gently clean hair without over massaging the scalp using Artègo Amazing Elevation Shampoo from the Easy Care line (helps hair better absorb Parameter T). Rinse thoroughly with water and only repeat a second time if absolutely necessary. Remove excess water with a towel without moving hair too much. 2. If required by hair, spray Artègo Miracle Lightweight (leave in conditioner from the Easy Care line) concentrating on the most porous and sensible areas, without rinsing. Wrapping Guide 1.Take the length of hair into account, choose a perm rod that is one or even two sizes in diameter smaller than regularly used. 2.With a comb trace the divisions necessary to put the curler in place keeping in mind the final result you want to obtain. 3.Mount the curlers on strands consisting of sections no more than 1 cm thick and no wider than the curler itself. On hair longer than 30 cm it is advisable to use double the amount of curlers in order to be sure to obtain a uniform result. 4. Wrap hair using medium tension. 5.Once the process is complete spray an abundant amount of water on the curlers. This is an essential preparation for spreading the product equally from the roots to the tips.

10 Application 1. Before applying Parameter T protect the clients skin by placing cotton soaked in water along the hairline, around the ears and along the neck. 2. With two fingers press the special Parameter T dispenser always facing down and apply the mousse on each curler and repeat more than once if necessary. The mousse remains visible for a few seconds before breaking down to a liquid. Application Times 1. Application time can vary from 5 to 30 minutes according to the type of hair being treated. In general the following times can be adhered to: Highlighted or very sensitive hair From 5 to 10 minutes Fine, delicate and semi colored hair From 5 to 15 minutes Colored hair From 10 to 20 minutes Natural, thick and full bodied hair from 15 to 30 minutes. Rinsing 1. Once the application time is complete immediately rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water, under a delicate jet, for 10 minutes (set timer!) making sure each curler has been rinsed several times. It is also recommended not to shampoo in the 48 hours following the treatment. Drying 1. Comb hair and to detangle spray with an appropriate amount of Artègo Miracle Lightweight. Then dry hair with a blow dryer and diffuser in order to facilitate the formation of a natural S shape and style accordingly. If a more pronounced and decisive look is required apply Twist Up from the Artègo Styling Tools line to hair before drying. In all cases hair will remain bright, soft and full of vitality. Technical Notes 1. Prior to applying Parameter T on a particularly sensitized hair, bleached, highlighted up to 70%, treated with latest keratin products or traditional straightening, we suggest to perform a restructuring service with Easy Care Dream Repair products.

11 Before After Vertical Application Zones B & C: position curlers vertically to the center line of the head to the right and left, arranging them in two overlapping rows until reaching the front hairline. Top of Zone A: arrange the curlers vertically following the lines most suited to achieve the end result required. Spiral Wrapping Protect the ends with an end paper and start wrapping at medium tension from one end of the curler, rolling the hair up in an oblique direction until reaching the hair line. For hair over 30/40 cm (12/15 in.) in length, wrap the hair in an oblique spiral around a first curler, shift down to the base and then the foil-wrapped ends until meeting the first curler.

12 Wrapping Pattern Approximate Hair Length: Texture Pattern: Wavy. Recommended Wrap: Directional. Cutting Form Finishing Technique: Air form with hand-held dryer and plastic-bristled brush; Spray Artègo Root Lift lightly throughout entire head use Red Bi-Ball Texturizing Roller Rods. Following the texturizing pattern. Front - Zone A Alternating Orange and Green Bi-Ball Texturizing Rods, Over and Back off the natural part. Top - Zone A & B Alternating Orange and Green Bi-Ball Texturizing Rods Down to the Occipital Bone. Nape - Zone C Green & White Bi-Ball Texturizing Rods Down from Occipital Bone to the Nape. Take the length of hair into account, choose a perm rod that is one or even two sizes in diameter smaller than regularly used.

13 Before Divide the head in 3 sections, as shown Horizontal Application Back and Side Zone: Starting from the back, position the curlers so that they overlap each other horizontally, arranging them on adjacent rows, parallel to each other and not more than the width of the curler. Top of Zone A: Continue with horizontal application following the direction used for the back zone. Alternatively, arrange the curlers in lines that will create the desired style. Classical Wrapping Protect the ends with end paper and start wrapping at medium tension from the center of the curler, rolling the hair up perpendicular to the axis of the curler until reaching the hair line. For lengths in excess of 30/40cm (12/15in), use the double curler method described above, wrapping around the center in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the curler. After
