2 Benefits Agent Orange Benefits Eligible Vietnam-era veterans who suffer from diseases associated with Agent Orange (chronic b-cell leukemias, Parkinson s disease and ischemic heart disease) may apply for disability compensation. Burial Flags A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased Veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. Compensation and Pension Service Headstones and Markers The VA will furnish a government headstone or marker for eligible veterans. Military Funeral Honors Families of eligible veterans may expect a funeral honors ceremony, including flag folding, flag presentation and the playing of taps. National Cemetery Administration Geographic listing of national cemeteries available to veterans. Presidential Memorial Certificates A Presidential Memorial Certificate (PMC) is an engraved paper certificate, signed by the current President, to honor the memory of honorably discharged deceased veterans. Veterans Burial and Memorial Benefits Veteran Support Center Information regarding eligibility and government benefits, nationally and locally.

3 Counseling Services Blinded Veterans Association Helps veterans and their families meet and overcome the challenges of blindness. Financial Counseling & Career Education Experts assist veterans with housing, financial and career planning, education, business opportunities and personal counseling. Disabled American Veterans National Service Officers represent veterans and their families with benefit claims from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense and other government agencies. Assistance is provided free of charge. Information seminars, counseling and community outreach are available. National Center for PTSD Aims to help U.S. Veterans and others through research, education, and training.
