1 2 nd Annual Special Ladies Program - M/S Mount Washington Brunch Cruise Sunday August 28 th, 2016 Greetings Brethren! When is the last time your Lodge hosted a program for your Special Ladies? Last year Olive Branch Mount Prospect #16 scheduled a cruise for our Ladies. Once word spread in our district, we realized there was a great interest in this becoming a larger event. We opened it up to the state and before we knew it, 9 Lodges and over 120 people attended! This truly became a special event and we hope to have an even greater number this year. We learned a few lessons in our first year and hope to improve each year to make this the best event possible. We hope you join us and look forward to your response! -Nate Fuller, Event Coordinator - naterfuller@gmail.com/ Who can go: This event is open to all Special Ladies, their friends and family, and the Brethren and their families in support of the Special Ladies. Cost: $35 per person, including taxes. This is a discounted rate obtained for the program. The price includes admission onto the boat, and buffet style brunch. In the spirit of this program, all tickets for our Special Ladies should be paid for by the lodge. Friends and family, and Brethren can purchase their own tickets at the discounted rate. Please see the attached form. Time: We will be boarding the M/S Mount Washington in Weirs. Boarding begins at 9:15am; the cruise will depart at 10am and return at 12:30pm. Parking: Metered parking is available. The price is.50 cents an hour, remember to bring quarters! Tickets: Tickets will be sent to each lodge prior to the event. Attire: Khaki shorts and polo shirts for men. Masonic hats/shirts greatly encouraged! Memento: A program will be provided as a memento recognizing our Special Ladies and the lodges that participated. Invitations: If your lodge is interested in participating, you will be expected to send out an official invitation to your Special Ladies, and follow up with a personal phone call. This is an opportunity to express to them that they are a part of our family. A template with information about this event is included and may be used as a starting point. Seating Arrangement: Special Ladies, family and Brothers will be sat together by lodge. Transportation: Transportation should be offered to all Special Ladies that would like to attend. 2 Sunday Brunch Cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee aboard the M/S Mount Washington. Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise with Live Entertainment. Sundays the M/S Mount Washington takes you to Alton Bay. Departing Weirs Beach the M/S Mount Washington will follow the western shore until Diamond Island. Ply the waters between Sleepers Island and the mainland on the trip over to Alton Bay. You know when you have passed Little Mark Island that you are entering the 5 mile arm of the lake known as Alton Bay. Alton Bay is located at the southernmost part of the lake. Upon your departure from Alton Bay, you will pass between Sleepers Island and Rattlesnake Island. The approach to Weirs Beach will be signaled by the slowed speed of the Mount as it passes through the Eagle Island Narrows. On Sundays you can catch the MOUNT in Weirs Beach at 10 AM & 12:30 PM and In Alton Bay at 11:15 AM. (May 17-- October 18). For more information visit
