1 How to Use Product Information and Resources on Welcome to the Avantor Website! Through the multiple tools available on the site, you ll be able to quickly and easily locate product information and documentation, get the help you re looking for, and stay on top of the latest product developments and Avantor company news. 3 Creating an Account 1. Visit and click Create an Account at the top of the home page. 2. Fill out the online form and click the Register Me button to register with Avantor. NOTE: If you are interested in enabling your account for e-commerce, please refer to our How to Use e-commerce guide for information on updating your profile. 3

4 Finding Product Information 1. Visit 2. Scroll over the Products tab in the main blue navigation bar at the top left of the home page and select the Product Categories link from the drop-down menu. 4

5 3. Click on a product category to see more specific information for that category, including a list of product descriptions and product numbers. 5

6 4. The main page for the product you selected will be displayed. Clicking on the product number will take you to the Product Information page. 6

7 5. At the Product Information page, you will be able to view available packaging sizes, container type, shipping warehouse and your price, in addition to other useful information. NOTE: You must have a registered account and be signed-in to view group code, inventory, ship from and pricing information. If you are NOT signed in to your account, you will only have access to list pricing. Finding Information on Markets/Applications 7

8 1. To find information on Avantor Markets and Applications, go to the Markets & Applications tab in the main navigation bar. When you roll over the tab, the drop-down menu displays the major markets Avantor serves. 8

9 2. Click on Markets & Applications to display the main page. To get information on a specific market, select the link from the main page or the drop-down menu and click on it. The page you select will be displayed. 9

10 3. From the Market or Application page you choose, you will be able to select a specific process or product category to obtain additional information. 10

11 Finding Technical Resources 1. A wide range of Technical Resources are now easily available on the site. To begin, go to the Technical tab in the main navigation bar. The drop-down menu displays the resources available in this section. 11

12 2. You can also click on the Technical tab in the main navigation bar, and the main Technical Information & Application Resources page is displayed. This page lets you access critical information tools such as the Ask Avantor Q&A Center, the Technical Library, our CHEMCHOICE cross-reference system and conversion tables. 12

13 Finding a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) From the Avantor homepage, scroll over the Products tab and choose MSDS from the drop-down menu. NOTE: The MSDS and Certificates of Analysis tabs are accessible from the Search function page. These links can also be found in the footer on every page of the site. 13

14 Within the Search Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) tab, follow the on-page instructions to search by Product Number, Product Name or CAS Number. You can also search by entering a search term in the Search Text box. 14

15 Finding Certificates of Analysis From the Avantor homepage, scroll to the Products tab in the main navigation bar and select Certificates of Analysis from the drop-down menu. 15

16 Within the Certificates of Analysis tab, follow the on-page instructions to search by Product Number or Lot Number. (NOTE: Users seeking European Certificates of Analysis must enter BOTH a product number and a lot number to get a search result on this page.) 16

17 Finding a Technical Document From the Avantor homepage, scroll over the Technical tab in the main blue navigation bar and select Technical Library from the drop-down menu. 17

18 The Technical Literature Library houses all of the most up-to-date documents in one area of the website where literature is organized according to business and document type. Under the appropriate business area, select a document category to view the list of documents available for download. Users can also search for specific documents using the Technical Library search function. 18

19 Searching the Technical Library From the Avantor homepage, click on the Go button next to the search field to access the Search page. 19

20 Click on the Technical Library tab to search the Technical Library and follow the on-page instructions to correctly enter your search terms. You can obtain product datasheets, application notes, scientific articles and regulatory updates through the Avantor Technical Library. 20

21 Ordering Product Literature 1. From the home page, scroll to the Products tab in the main navigation bar and choose Catalog Search from the drop-down menu. 21

22 2. On the Search Product Catalog page, follow the on-page instructions to correctly enter your search terms. Select the desired product literature from the displayed results page. 22

23 3. When you click on the relevant literature, you will be taken to the Literature Description page. 4. Review the literature description and confirm your order by clicking on the Add to cart Button. You will be taken to the Literature Ordering page. 23

24 5. Please complete all fields on the order form, and then click on Submit Order to complete your request. 24
