1 REGION VII Training and Technical Assistance Plan Framework: Submission version Grantee Name Omaha Public Schools Grant # 07CH7044 Date August 1, 2014 Applications for Federal financial assistance to operate a Head Start and/or Early Head Start program must provide a comprehensive description of the organization s plans to deliver quality Head Start and/or Early Head Start services. The program s strategic planning and data analysis systems are used to develop the goals, objectives and learning impacts in order to guide and ensure delivery of quality services. The T/TA Plan should connect training needs to long range goals and short term objectives. T/TA Plans should include issues identified though analysis of data including: OHS and T/TA priorities (school readiness, family engagement, professional development and partnerships), OHSMS reports, goals developed through the Region VII Grantee Assessment Process, self-assessment, ongoing monitoring, and any other sources of meaningful data informing training needs. If there are costs associated with the TTA activity, indicate by checking the yes column and provide the necessary information in the budget narrative section of the grant application. Part 1. Head Start Education Specialist will conduct training session on updated classroom procedures for Mental Health services. Head Start Administrative staff will conduct training for all staff regarding updated screening permission form.
