FloatingNut Along with the spindle, the patented Floating- Nut and its bearing is the key component in the extension and retraction of the SAF TITAN PRO and SAF TITAN. The new landing gear systems therefore carry not only the semi-trailer s vertical load like the traditional nut but also accommodate the thrust and transverse loads which occur when coupling and uncoupling. Patented synchronised gear box No gears in the gear box need to be moved when changing gear; high or low gear is engaged by moving the journal on the drive shaft. That makes gear changes easier, safer and more convenient regardless of the grease level or external temperature, for example in winter. Patented crank handle Automatic coupling when you lift the crank handle. Especially user-friendly compared to conventional crank handles.
