Daily prayers for November Tuesday, November 1 st : Pray for a deepening passion for prayer, both for yourself and for the church, that we would hear His voice more clearly, know His heart more intimately, walk in His power more fully, and experience His peace more consistently. Wednesday, November 2 nd : Lift up the Financial Peace seminar; pray that it would provide Biblical tools and wisdom for those who attend and that it would open the storehouse of heaven to release God s blessings on His church to accomplish His purposes. Then thank Him for the work He has already been doing. Thursday, November 3 rd : Ask the Holy Spirit to quicken the hearts of those who will be seeking healing prayers tonight that there would be no obstacles hindering their coming and that every heart would be open and receptive to all He wishes to accomplish. Friday, November 4 th : Pray for divine guidance for the upcoming election. Our country is in a spiritual battle, and we cannot sit idly by and just hope for the best or resign ourselves to accepting whatever the outcome may be. The weapons of our warfare are divinely appointed, and we need to confidently appropriate every tool He has given us. Pray through 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Saturday, November 5 th : Cover the extended night of worship in prayer. Praise Him for the privilege of entering into His Presence, and pray for a covering for the worship and tech teams to guard them from any hindrances. Remember that Satan tries to limit our prayers because he knows our prayers (and praise) limit him! Sunday, November 6 th : Ask God to help us really digest all we are learning about the importance and power of honest, just me-and-jesus prayer, and then pray that as we become more and more a true house of prayer that we will see the exponential impact this will have on our body and beyond our walls. Monday, November 7 th : Pray for boldness, courage, and a passion for sharing the Gospel with the lost and suffering. When we pray this way, we know we are praying in agreement with Him, and think of the power this holds! Praise Him that He is the one who will be speaking through us to accomplish His purpose. Tuesday, November 8 th : We need to spend the day on our knees, praying that Christians across the country would exercise their right to vote and that they would vote their conscience according to how they believe God is leading them. And regardless of the outcome, we need to remember that He is in control and our only source of true hope. Wednesday, November 9 th : Remember the team that arrives in El Salvador today. Pray that God will give them divine appointments and supernatural wisdom and guidance in seeking His will and direction for how to best serve the communities there.

Thursday, November 10 th : We are instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1,2- First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Let us all refrain from bemoaning any of the results and instead pray for those who have been elected to office that they would be led by the Spirit of our God to fulfill His purpose. Friday, November 11 th : Today is Veterans Day, and we should remember to thank God for the sacrifices of these men and women who have served our country as well as those who are active duty. Ask Him to surround them with His love and protection and to let them know they are valued and highly esteemed. Saturday, March 12 th : Lift up the men who are learning to become Men of Action at the men s retreat this weekend. Pray for the Spirit to fall on them powerfully and that they will be forever changed because of it. Also thank Him for moving on the hearts of these men to seek to become conformed to His image. Sunday, November 13 th : As Thanksgiving approaches, pray for us to remember those who are less fortunate and to bring in a bounty of provisions to provide for the many Thanksgiving meals we provide each year. Pray that they will not only fill hungry stomachs, but the recipients will be filled with the love of God that prompts us to give.

Monday, November 14 th : Each of us has been given spiritual gifts for the purpose of building up the body, and He has placed each one of us in the body just as He desired. Pray that we would prayerfully seek to determine how each of us has been equipped by Him to edify and serve, and then ask that we would be obedient and encouraged as we humbly accept His assignments. Tuesday, November 15 th : Pray for the protection and health of our marriages and families. Pray against the forces and distractions that seek to weaken and disrupt family units, and especially those that are God-centered and seeking to serve and honor Him. Also pray that all would grow in their love and devotion to Him and to one another. Wednesday, November 16 th : We are told in Isaiah 56:7, For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations. And we are told that He will make us joyful in His house of prayer! Pray for Pure Heart to become known as His house of prayer! Thursday, November 17 th : Pray that the Spanish ministry which meets on our campus would be fruitful in reaching and teaching the Hispanic community. Ask for a blessing on them and that they would be led by and filled with His Spirit. Friday, November 18 th : Tonight is graduation night for the Southwest School of Chaplaincy; pray for the new chaplains to be equipped and on fire to share the love of Jesus and to serve Him in whatever capacity they are called to fill.

Saturday, November 19 th : Lift up today s Market on the Move ministry that will be offering 60# bags of fresh produce for only $10 each; this is a very cost-effective and tangible way to share His bounty and blessing with those in need. Isaiah 58:10 Sunday, November 20 th : Rejoice with those who are being baptized today and pray for them to grow strong in their faith; to have mentors who will come alongside them to offer support, encouragement, and guidance; and for them to be protected from the attacks of the enemy. Pray for them to be able to stand firm. Monday, November 21 st : Pray for our schools, that all Christian students, staff, and teachers would be granted protection and favor in what can be a very secular and hostile atmosphere. Pray for their hearts and minds to be guarded in Christ, and ask that they might be salt and light to those around them who are hardened, hurting, hateful, and without hope. Tuesday, November 22 nd : Cover in prayer our pastors, staff, and their families. Those in positions of leadership are often the ones who suffer the greatest attacks, so remember to pray for their physical, emotional, and spiritual protection and health, and remember to thank and encourage them often.

Wednesday, November 23 rd : Pray for the Life Together groups to be knit together in love and truth, and pray that they would be healthy and thriving, offering meaningful fellowship and support in a safe setting to an ever-growing number of people. Thursday, November 24 th : Happy Thanksgiving! Pray that families across our cities, state, and country would take the time to acknowledge the source of our blessings and to thank Him. Pray also that we would not lose sight of how truly blessed we are and that we will remember those who do not share our freedoms and abundance. Friday, November 25 th : Pray for wisdom, guidance, and favor as we move forward in the plans for the remodeling and building on campus. Pray that all would be done according to God s purposes and would honor Him as well as build up and extend His kingdom. Saturday, November 26 th : Praise God for the many people each week who surrender their lives to Christ in each of our services. Pray that they will develop deep and meaningful relationships with Him and with other believers who can disciple them. Also pray for hearts to be tender and open to the message and that what He has revealed will be sealed.

Sunday, November 27th: Today is the beginning of Advent, the name coming from the Latin ad-venire meaning to come to. Pray that we would make this a time to prepare our hearts for celebrating not only the first coming of our Savior but also His second coming. Let the joy we experience as we make preparation be steeped in our gratitude for His gift and our anticipation of His next arrival in glory. Monday, November 28th: Pray for the support groups that meet every Monday to be places of healing and restoration that addictions will be broken, captives will be set free, lies will be replaced with truth, and the schemes of the enemy will be defeated in the name of Jesus. Tuesday, November 29nd: Lift up the Youth Ministry, for a hunger and thirst for His presence in the lives of the students and for volunteers who are passionate about sowing into the next generation the seeds of revival. Wednesday, November 30th: Remember to pray for the homeless that they would seek the assistance of both the Food Pantry and the Resource Center, not as a handout but as a road to wholeness and restoration. Pray for their protection and for them to receive the help that is being offered them as coming from a loving heavenly Father who sees them as precious and valuable.
