1 FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITY ESACOTTERO DRONE The Eurodrone division of Personal Soft Service s.a.s. has developed a multi helix Drone characterized by some peculiarities specifications, including the ease of use and stability in flight. Long periods of testing and a thorough study of the requests received by customers gave us the opportunity to create a work tool extremely conformable and customizable to the needs of different businesses, in fact our drone can carry a payload near 1 kg and has a leveling support that can home most of the devices dedicated to photography, photogrammetry and imaging tool, such as thermal cameras or infrared. Its extremely slim and streamlined enable to use it in conditions with gusts of wind and, thanks to the automatic overing, it maintains the position fairly accurately. Great attention has been paid to the study of the support frame made of composite materials and aluminum to ensure lightness and good resistance to twisting. The chassis houses the processor board, and it is protected by a dome Kevlar which protects it from accidental bumps and weather. On our drones are installable different types of propellers and motors for better customize them on the type of use for which they were requested. Eurodrone is in continuous development of both software and hardware in order to give more and more solutions to any customer requests; during this period is in to study an anti-collision system that makes the drone extremely safe for use in confined spaces or in the presence many obstacles (eg. trees). In this period are in final testing phase the form "Follow me", a system whereby the drone Riferimento Pag. 1

2 follows automatically the person or vehicle with the transmitter "Follow me", and the software module that will allow take-off and landing a completely automatic way. Eurodrone, beyond the provision of the means described, also provides all the support for the formation and release of the related patent of flight. Eurodrone has a flight simulator that allows new pilots to safely acquire the technical skills of maneuver that will then be exploited during daily operations. Eurodrone is also equipped with a mobile workshop that allows you to perform the audit of the drones directly at the customer's seat, so as to always ensure the maximum safety of use. The drone provides georeferenced images: our aircraft gives coordinates from the point where you need to go (eg. to extinguish a fire). It can counter wind gusts up to 40km/h and to fly in rain, snow, etc.. This, however, depends heavily on the supply of engines and propellers and the cargo on board. It supports a range of temperatures from -15 to +60 degrees. For flights in extremely cold places, Eurodrone provides a storage system for the batteries. Our drone is able to take videos and photographs in overing mode or to flight independently. The drone is extremely quiet, thanks to the use of electric motors. It has a range of about 15 minutes, depending on the type of load. It can fly with autopilot on fixed points (designed for autonomous flight managed in telemetry). Riferimento Pag. 2

3 It can reach 2,000 meters above sea level. It is designed for the installation of sniffer chemical (or electronic nose), electronic instrument produced by us that can measure air quality. It can carry a weight of up to 1kg. It can reach a height of 200 meters in 10 seconds. It can take photographs or video recordings in 12Megapixel up to 60 frames per second with the photographic tools designed for installation on board (Nikon V1 or J1 as needed). It can accommodate (depending on the options chosen): - Thermal camera (suitable for displaying heat sources including hidden ones, depending on the model, it can also provide the temperature of the object or subject); - Loudspeaker to warn the population (useful if there is the necessity to warn the population of any risks or give instructions to deal with any emergencies in places not easily accessible); - Parachute brakes (the drone can accommodate, going to decrease the payload available, a safety parachute can be activated manually by the pilot or automatically activated when there are failures or anomalies on board). Because of the particular configuration of the drone, you can make it ready to use in minutes. Tests and experiences of our clients, with close-knit and trained teams, the drone can fly up in an average time of 3 minutes. In this time, well-trained operators perform the following tasks: - Extraction from the container - Control of flight surfaces - Installation of power sources - Control of the center of gravity Riferimento Pag. 3

4 - Setting gyroscopes - Test engines - Installation camera or camcorder - Initialization ground station - Take-off The drones produced by Eurodrone have a weight between 1,000 and 2,500 grams in flight attitude. This depends on the number of motors, batteries and the type of load support installed. We remind that we also produce: - The model with four engines (called Bee) - The model with six engines (called Easy Fly) - The model to eight engines (called Big Foot) All models are available in different versions and features customized according to customer requirements. Main uses of our drone: Inspection of dangerous sites to humans. Fire prevention. Thanks to the type of cameras installed on board, it is possible to inspect large areas identifying locations where the temperature is abnormally rising. Air quality control. Using the sniffer (or electronic nose) the drone can fly in a very safe and environmentally way in residential areas and analyze in real time via telemetry air quality. Tapings after disasters. 5 show in real time the situation, so it allows the rescue services to operate with the support of an external director. Control of landslides. The Italian territory has an high landslide risk and so takes full advantage by using our drone, that is able to fly at very high risk areas taking photogrammetric and georeferenced images to draw extremely precise control of the area and any movement of landslide risk areas. It also can unhook, through a special accessory, motion sensors that detect and signal the movements of the ground. Shooting journalism and advertising. Our drone has already been used several times by journalist teams to shooting in the field; the camera crews and video editing studios use it to make movies of absolute effect thanks to the maneuverability of the vehicle, thus creating jobs with subjective unthinkable until recently and with extremely low costs. Control of public events. During public demonstrations, air traffic control is an integral part of security operations. 6 boat and control huge areas of the sea using on-board cameras to high definition. Who does this work knows that, with good visibility, 200 meters high allows the visibility of the sea up to 20 km. This means can therefore facilitate the work of the Coast Guard also in the control of illegal landings. Control of the hollow through photogrammetry with precision of a few centimeters. Last, but not least, is the use of the drone for controlling decidedly accurate excavations inside of the slots. Thanks to the systems of photogrammetry and their precision, it is possible to know exactly the amount of material removed.
