2 Overview With Mobile Banking from American Bank, you can easily access your Bank OnLine information on the go, at your convenience. Check your balances, transfer money, and receive messages and account alerts via your Internetenabled iphone, ipod Touch or ipad. Mobile Banking from American Bank is convenient, fast and free. PLEASE NOTE: While the bank does not charge a fee to use Mobile Banking, you may incur charges for accessing the Internet via your device, depending on your carrier and the plan/features to which you subscribe. American Bank is not responsible for these charges. Features Enjoy enhanced, streamlined security. View account balances and details in real-time. View transaction history with search capability. Perform one-time funds transfers between transfer-enabled accounts by using a 4-digit approval code. Send or receive secure messages to and from American Bank. Access messages and account alerts from Bank OnLine. Business customers can also draft and initiate Single ACH Payments, Single ACH Receipts and Domestic Wire Transfers from pre-established templates. Security Enjoy peace of mind, knowing you have the same level of security as with Bank OnLine. Establish a 4-digit approval code to authorize certain kinds of transactions like transfers and transaction approvals. Stay protected through advanced encryption technology to help prevent unauthorized access. Registration Process To access Mobile Banking, you must first register for and activate Bank OnLine, then enroll in Mobile Banking under the Preferences section of Bank OnLine. Mobile Access Once registered, you can log in via the American Bank Mobile Banking App, which can be downloaded from the App Store. Page 2

3 Enrolling in Mobile Banking To access Mobile Banking, you must first register for and activate Bank OnLine. Once you have access to Bank OnLine, you can enroll in Mobile Banking by following these steps: Login to Bank OnLine. Under the Preferences menu, click on Mobile. You will be presented with the Mobile Enrollment tab. The box marked Yes, enable my User Name and Password for use on my mobile device. will be pre-checked. Click Submit to enroll in Mobile Banking. The Mobile Banking web address for smartphones is listed on this screen, but iphone, ipad and ipod Touch users can simply download the American Bank Mobile Banking App to access Mobile Banking through your device. NOTE: After you have enrolled in Mobile Banking, the Mobile Enrollment screen will look the same. Page 3

4 Mobile Authorization Code The Mobile Authorizations tab allows you to establish a 4-digit code required to approve Mobile Transfers. Personal accounts can use a Mobile Authorization Code to draft and authorize one-time funds transfers through Mobile Banking. Business customers can use a Mobile Authorization Code to draft and authorize Single ACH Payments, Single ACH Receipts and Domestic Wire Transfers from pre-established templates through Mobile Banking. If you forget your Mobile Authorization Code, you can login to Bank OnLine and reset it through this page. Page 4

5 Downloading the American Bank App You can access Mobile Banking for your iphone, ipad or ipod Touch by downloading the FREE American Bank app from the App Store. Simply go to the App Store on your device and search by American Bank. Select the American Bank Mobile Banking app with our logo from the search list, and click on Install. Logging In After enrolling in Mobile Banking through Bank OnLine and downloading the American Bank Mobile Banking app from the App Store, you will be able to open the app and log in. Your Logon ID and Password will be the same as your Bank OnLine User Name and Password. Mobile Banking provides you with access to the following features: Shared login and user rights with Bank OnLine. Review account balances and details in real time. Review transaction history with search capability. Make one time funds transfers between registered accounts. Send or receive secure messages to/from the bank. Business customers can also draft and initiate Single ACH Payments, Single ACH Receipts and Domestic Wire Transfers from pre-established templates. Page 5

6 Accounts The Accounts page is the first screen you will see after you log in to Mobile Banking. The Accounts screen provides you with a list of all accounts by nickname. (You can assign a nickname to each of your accounts in the Account Preferences menu in Bank OnLine). The Accounts screen includes: New message notifications Same accounts as Bank OnLine Account nicknames and last 4-digits of account numbers Current balance of accounts Available balance of accounts Menu options for Mobile Banking You can return to this screen anytime by clicking on Accounts in the menu at the bottom of each screen. To view further details on an account, simply click on the account. Account Details The Account Details page displays basic account details for the selected account. The Account Details screen includes: Available balance Current balance Transactions today Hold balance Available line of credit balance Total available balance Interest rate Interest amount paid year-to-date Previous year-to-date interest amount To see transaction history on the selected account, click on the History button in the top right-hand corner of the Account Details screen. To switch accounts, return to the Accounts screen via the button in the top left-hand corner and select a different account. Page 6

7 History The History screen will display your most recent transactions for the selected account. You will also be able to search for and view your transactions in several different ways. You can choose from the following options to view your Account History: Most recent transactions Search by date Search by description History Options Select your preferred search option using the menu buttons at the top of the page. Then, based upon the selection, you will be asked to enter the date range or description you wish to search by. Page 7

8 Transactions The Transactions page displays various types of online activity initiated from Bank OnLine or Mobile Banking. You will see all online or mobile Drafted and Processed transactions listed. You can then click on the arrows to the right of any listed transaction to see more details. You can Approve or Cancel a Drafted transaction as well. Simply click on the transaction, and buttons for Approve and Cancel will appear. Click on the New button in the top right-hand corner to schedule a new funds transfer. Funds Transfer You can make a one-time funds transfer through your mobile device by clicking on the New button on the Transactions page. Select the From Account and the To Account. Then enter a Transfer Date and Amount for the transfer. Once you have entered all the necessary information click the Submit button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Page 8

9 Approving a Transfer Once you click Submit to make a transfer, you will see a popup screen requesting the Mobile Authorization Code you created when you enrolled in Mobile Banking. NOTE: If you have not yet established a Mobile Authorization Code, you must do so before you can authorize a funds transfer through Mobile Banking. Simply login to Bank OnLine, and go to the Mobile page under the Preferences menu. Click on the Mobile Authorizations tab and enter a 4- digit code, then click Submit. NOTE: If you forget your Mobile Authorization Code, follow the directions above to reset it in Bank OnLine. Once you enter your Mobile Authorization Code and click Accept, you will be presented with a pop-up message stating that your transaction is complete. You will also be returned to the Transactions screen where your new transaction will be listed. Commercial Payments Business customers can also access and initiate ACH Single Payments, ACH Single Receipts and Domestic Wire Transfers via Mobile Banking through the Transactions page. For any of the Commercial Payments, you will enter: Pay As option (can only select from pre-established templates) Recipient From Account Effective Date Amount Once completed, click the Submit button in the top righthand corner. NOTE: You must have the proper user rights established in Bank OnLine in order to see Commercial Payment options in Mobile Banking. NOTE: You can only choose from pre-established ACH and Wire Transfer templates. Authorized business users can create commercial payments and send Super Users notification that authorization is required, which they can then authorize through Bank OnLine or Mobile Banking. Page 9

10 Approving a Commercial Payment Once you click Submit, you will see a pop-up screen requesting the Mobile Authorization Code you created when you enrolled in Mobile Banking. NOTE: If you have not yet established a Mobile Authorization Code, you must do so before you can authorize a funds transfer or Commercial Payment through Mobile Banking. Simply login to Bank OnLine, and go to the Mobile page under the Preferences menu. Click on the Mobile Authorizations tab and enter a 4-digit code, then click Submit. NOTE: If you forget your Mobile Authorization Code, follow the directions above to reset it in Bank OnLine. Once you enter your Mobile Authorization Code and click Accept, you will be presented with a pop-up message stating your transaction is complete. You will also be returned to the Transactions screen where your new transaction will be listed. Messages The Messages screen is accessible from the menu at the bottom of any page. You can perform the following options from the Messages screen: View all secure messages and alerts. Delete a message by clicking on it, then selecting Delete. Send a new secure message to Customer Service. Note: If any messages are sent from or available in Bank OnLine, you will see the same messages in Mobile Banking. Page 10

11 Sending a Message If you wish to send a Secured Message to the bank, click on the New button in the top right-hand corner of the Messages screen. You can then enter a department to send your message to, type in a Subject, and write a brief message. If you wish to send a longer, more detailed message to the bank, you can login to Bank OnLine and send a secure message from there as well. Signing Out You should always Sign Out after using Mobile Banking to ensure the security of your information. Signing out takes you back to the Login screen and closes the current session of Mobile Banking. Page 11
