3 LOCATION The TIVOLI VICTORIA is located in Vilamoura, in the Algarve around three kilometers north of the Marina. This new 5 star unit in the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts group is literally surrounded by the panoramic fairways of the Victoria Golf Course designed by Arnold Palmer already 3

4 CONCEPT The VICTORIA is a hotel inspired by the modern-classicism of the Grand Hotels famous for their aura of glamour and mysticism in the golden era of tourism between the two world wars (such as the Hotels des Bains, the Lido in Venice, or the Hotel Martinez in Croisette de Cannes). The TIVOLI VICTORIA also seeks to recover the timelessness and style which characterized hotel architecture in Portugal in the 50s. Projects such as the Tivoli Lisboa and the Ritz both designed by Pardal Monteiro are clear examples of this style. The use of classical materials on the façade white concrete and yellow fossil stone, with golden aluminum framework is enhanced by the lush surrounding landscaping which is predominantly based on local species. The decorative panels were designed by the artist Pedro Calapez in pigmented concrete and are reminiscent of bas-reliefs sculpted in stone. Inside, the combinations of paving in stone and brass, the walls of bright stucco, the solid hardwood floors and wooden fittings throughout ensure a level of luxury without precedent in recent hotel history. 4

5 CONCEPT In line wi th the mos t recent concept s, the bat hroom in standar d rooms op ens onto the room through a sliding door. Wash basins are wall mounted over wooden tables. The purity of the white marble paving contrasts with the warmth of the walls in American oak and natural fibre wall paper. 5

The decoration is understated elegance and all aspects of design have the well being of guests uppermost in mind. A number of ground floor rooms also have a garden. 6

Based on centuries old Asian traditions, this stylish haven offers treatments that incorporate natural ingredients, aromatic oils, herbs, spices and exotic flowers. In addition to the exclusive treatments, all of the 14 individual deluxe treatm ent rooms are equip ped with private spacious spa tubs, showers an d s te am ba th s. Guests can also enjoy the hot and cold water immersion pools, sauna, steam rooms, relaxation room, beauty treatment room, a gym, a yoga and meditation centre which are all part of the spa facilities.
