The Angels are not God s intended rulers. HUMANS! So who are?

The Heb 2.5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. 6 It has been testified somewhere, What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? 7 You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, 8 putting everything in subjection under his feet. 13 Heb 2.5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. 6 It has been testified somewhere, What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? 7 You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, 8 putting everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. 9 But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. CHRIST IS THE KING 8. The Heb 2.10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, 12 saying, I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.

15 Heb 1.1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Heb 2.5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. 6 It has been testified somewhere, What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? 7 You made him for a little 5. 17 8. The Heb Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe. The idolatry of work is defeated when we offer the priestly sacrifices of praise and good works to God. Heb Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
18 While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they were not only instructed in the building of the tabernacle but also in the offering of sacrifices there. The sacrifices dramatically demonstrated that the God who was a consuming fire on the mountain would consume these animals and not them, despite their sin. 8. The Yet provision was also made for sacrifices of thanksgiving (Lev 7:11-18) and gratitude was the 9. motivation The Posture for bringing first-fruits to the altar (Deut 26:1-11). As God s priests, God s people offer praise and thanksgiving to their creator (Ps 50:14, our 23; 107:22; 116:17). Even apart from the fall such priestly worship is necessary. Tabernacle / Temple Exod 19: 5-6 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. our Kingship 1 Pet 2.9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 19 Rom 12.1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 8. The Phil 4.18 I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. Heb Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe. The idolatry of work is defeated when we offer the priestly sacrifices of praise and good works to God. Eph 5.2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
21 8. The The idolatry of work is defeated when we seek our deliverance and help from the God who made us rather than from the work of our hands. Rather than setting up our works as things to which we bow, we take them in hand and then turn and offer them back to the Father who enabled these things by his Spirit. But this doesn t mean that we should neglect the work of our hands. We ask God to establish it (Ps 90:17). We offer priestly sacrifices of praise and good works to God. This is not a betrayal of grace. It is a fulfillment of grace. Eph 5.2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
