? WHY CHOOSE NVNA WORKS AS AN AFFILIATE OF NVNA AND HOSPICE, a non-profit home health care and hospice agency founded in 1920, NVNA Works benefits from nearly a century of experience and expertise in delivering home care services. We share the same operational standards: employing trained, qualified and experienced staff to provide the best quality care.

OUR CAREGIVERS All staff undergo a thorough background check prior to hire. All staff must participate in our NVNA Works Training Program, which includes extensive and in-depth training in caregiving, customer service, and specialty care including Alzheimer s and dementia care and hospice care. We cover our caregivers with general liability and worker s compensation insurance. Rest assured, our caregivers have the skills to meet your needs from Day One. FLEXIBLE AND CUSTOMIZED CARE PLANS We are not a one size fits all home care agency. Our services are customized to meet each individual s specific physical, emotional, social and financial needs. Whether the need is for short-term assistance to recover from surgery or an illness, extra support to stay at home safely and independently, or longer-term care to meet a specific health issue, We work for your needs.

EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF As needs vary, so do the resources to meet those needs. Fortunately at NVNA Works, we collaborate with our parent company to augment Medicare-reimbursed home care and hospice services. Whether you need a single stand-alone service such as housekeeping, homemaking, or companion care; a combination of services that might include personal caregivers, private nursing or physical therapy; or a complement to certified home care or hospice services, we can be there with you and for you. There is no need to change or add agencies as more extensive care is needed. We can do it all through a seamless delivery system. CONVENIENT, COMPASSIONATE, COMMITTED It s easy to arrange for services. No doctor s order, preauthorization, or approval process is needed for private services. Simply call us and tell us what you need and when you need it. As important as the care delivered is the caregiver relationship. We match our caregivers carefully and with great consideration to specific needs and requirements. We coordinate all the scheduling and accommodate any requests for changes as necessary. Your satisfaction is important to us. We have hourly services available or 24/7 availability. Know that NVNA Works is committed to your care.

OUR SERVICES Our private duty services cover a range of needs, including, but not limited to: nmeal planning and preparation nlight housekeeping nshopping nlaundry nassistance with pet care nwriting letters and organizing correspondence, including bills ncompanionship/friendship ntransportation npersonal care assistance (bathing, dressing, personal needs, etc.) nmedication reminders nprivate Nursing nprivate Physical Therapy nprivate Occupational Therapy nprivate Speech Therapy ngeriatric Care Management nregistered Dietician All of our services are provided with dignity and respect for you, your property and your home. SUPPORTIVE SERVICES Our staff of caregivers, homemakers and companions provides a variety of supportive services that help promote the safety and security of clients and their environments. Our support extends as well to our clients caregivers, for whom our respite care program is designed. Caregivers are certified and trained to provide hands-on personal care. They assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. We also offer respite to families and other caregivers and are available during vacations, holidays, and other necessary occasions. Homemakers provide assistance in one s home to ensure the environment is safe and secure. They help with laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet and plant care, shopping and errands, and dropping off and picking up prescriptions. Companions offer comfort and company inside and outside the home. They are available to write letters and correspondence, aid with reading, play games and cards, assist with crafts, accompany to social occasions, religious services, and family events, and escort to medical and other appointments.

CLINICAL SERVICES NVNA Works offers private duty nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists to meet clients complex medical needs or rehabilitative requirements. Geriatric Care Management (GCM) NVNA Works provides professional long-term care planning for people in need of home care assistance. Home care clients may be eligible for local, state or federal home care assistance, and our professional planners provide an assessment and guidance to community program benefits. Our GCM program offers the full range of professional guidance, planning, advocacy and care management from a dedicated, certified care manager. Special Services NVNA Works has developed services that cater to our clients with special needs, including those with life limiting illnesses, Alzheimer s and dementia, or caring for two people in the same home. Caregivers are specially trained to tailor the type and scope of care needed in these unique circumstances, including hospice trained staff and Alzheimer s certified staff. NVNA Works also works closely with our affiliate corporation, NVNA and Hospice, to ensure continuity, communication and sensitivity to our clients special needs.
