Methods: The studies on the association between forgiveness and mental health were collected through the database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wang Fang,China Science and Technology Journal. Point estimate and 95% CI was calculated to analyze the association between forgiveness and mental health. Results: Totally 26 studies were met requirements of meta-analysis with the sample size of There was significant positive correlation between forgiveness and positive mental health ( r = 0. 29,95% CI: ) and negative correlation between forgiveness and negative mental health ( r = ,95% CI: ). The forgiveness quality measuring tool was able to adjust the relation of forgiveness and positive mental health ( Q = ,P < ) and forgiveness and negative mental health ( Q = ,P < ). The measurement index of forgiveness was not able to adjust the relation of forgiveness and positive mental health( Q = 0. 04,P > 0. 05) and forgiveness and negative mental health ( Q = 1. 73,P > 0. 05). Conclusion: The finding shows an accurate estimate of the relationship between mental health and forgiveness.
