Learning Outcomes Recognise the traffic light sequence and what each stage of the sequence means. Recognise the pelican crossing sequence and what each stage of the sequence means. Suggested Development of Lesson Gather the whole class together and use rrive live poster as a stimulus. Discuss as a class the sequence of traffic lights and the sequence for a pelican crossing. Show the pupils the sequence of pictures on the poster displayed at a pelican crossing and question them on the meaning of each one e.g. What does the flashing green man mean?
