2 Throughout my life, I have always done my best to chase my dreams and to stand up for what I believe. From an early age, I faced many challenges with dyslexia and a speech impediment. I was teased by some of my classmates in school for not being able to read or write as well as the other kids. Despite these challenges in my life, I have never given up. When it comes to my dreams, my parents always tell me to listen to my heart and to believe in myself. I am now living my childhood dream of becoming a professional cyclist. My team and I race all over the world, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and striving for new goals. I am not a perfect person, but I try my best to be kind to others and to make this world a better place. The Steven Cozza Race for Kids Cycling Coloring Book was created to educate children about the sport of cycling and to provide them with a positive, self-esteem building message. I hope they are inspired to never give up on their dreams. Thank you for your support. Together we care and together we can help make dreams come true for disadvantaged children. 3 I rode Big Wheels with my sister Anne every chance I could. Anne liked to ride with her teddy bear named CiCi. Our dog Teddy liked to follow us.

4 I used training wheels to learn how to ride my first bike. Even when I m not racing, I always wear my helmet. When I was younger, I liked to pretend I was flying on my bike.

5 Here I am in my younger years racing BMX bikes at the local dirt track. Ride safely and always wear your helmet!

6 A mountain bike race at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, USA was the first race I ever entered. I was 12 years old. No matter what obstacle you face in life Never Give Up. So whether you win or lose, you can always walk away feeling proud of yourself.

7 There are many different kinds of bike races. Here I am racing my cyclocross bike. Cyclocross is a mix between road and mountain bike racing. Illustrated from a photo by Steve Anderson Staying focused while racing is very important. It prevents you from crashing and helps you to be the best you can be on the bike.

9 Always chase your dreams and listen to your heart... Dreams do come true. I was very honored to be representing the USA at the World Road Race Championships held in Italy in 2008.

10 Jen and I enjoy the beautiful European countryside on our tandem bicycle. There are many kinds of bicycles including road, mountain, tandem, cyclocross, BMX, unicycle, single gear, cruiser and tricycle.

11 My sister Anne and her friend Matt are waiting for Jen and me to catch up. Family is important for teaching you to love yourself and others, to care for animals and the world in which we live. I love my sister. She and I are buddies for life. Anne is also a teacher like our mom Jeanette, who teaches kindergarten.

12 Let s have fun! Here I am without my mustache. If you d like, please give me a new one. Draw one of your own or choose a mustache from the next page to glue. Bring this picture to a race and I ll sign it.

14 Believe in yourself... dreams do come true. This is your trophy from me to you, just for being you. Write your name on it and be proud of yourself.

15 Jen and I rode our bikes in the mountains where we went camping and fishing. Cycling is a global sport for young and old. All you need is a bike and you re off! Bicycles don t pollute. They are environmentally friendly and help improve health through exercise. Bicycles can be used to bring people together to talk and have fun. In some countries, they are the most common means of transportation and can play a vital part in the culture. So, hop on your bicycle and ride to wherever your heart desires!
