CLEAR GOVERNANCE STRUCTURES Both GDT Events and GDT Marketplace have clear governance structures. Global Dairy Trade is owned by Fonterra Co-operative Group, but is operationally and physically separate from Fonterra. We have separate offices, separate systems and operational autonomy. These separation protocols are monitored through an internal compliance committee and are independently audited every year. Both GDT Events and GDT Marketplace have clear governance structures. An independent Oversight Board oversees GDT Events rules and structures so that they are monitored and developed in a neutral and transparent manner. The Board is made up of an independent chairperson and a balanced representation of participants and financial market members. In addition, CRA International Inc., a leading global economic consulting firm with extensive expertise in auction design and platforms, is the independent Trading Manager responsible for operating each auction for GDT Events.
