Gx Are you suffering From Lateral Elbow Pain? It may be Tennis Elbow It is a common condition of Elbow due to overuse of muscles & tendons around elbow.
Then GO FOR PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA) THE NATURAL PAIN KILLER!!! Usually 1 out of 200 people get tennis elbow within the age ranges from 30 to 55. Please ask some questions to yourself as well as your doctor What is tennis elbow? How does this name come of? How it happens? What will you feel when you are suffering from tennis elbow? How do you come to know that you are having tennis elbow? What is not worth full to do when you are having tennis elbow? How it can be managed? How VIROC would help you to come out from this Problem? At which stage u need surgery?
Tennis Elbow is the painful condition of elbow due to overuse of the muscles and tendon located around elbow joint. It is the most common condition in Athletes. i.e..playing tennis involves the repetitive use of the muscles around elbow (extensor muscles of the forearm) due to improper stroke of racket., all though it is also common for carpenters, labors, workers, gardeners or employees who are associated with repetitive movements etcs,.this leads to swelling of these muscles at lateral epicondyle of elbow. The muscles around elbow usually involved in extending the wrist as well gripping of fingers. so, all the movements that involves wrist extension and finger gripping may lead to tennis elbow. It can be considered due to repetitive movements at elbow, overused muscles, failed healing of the tendon (Extensor Carpi radialis brevis )muscles, direct blow to lateral epicondyle or we can say elbow, sudden forceful pulling of elbow or forceful extension movements, incorrectly playing tennis etc leads to pain at lateral epicondyle of elbow. It may be acute or chronic depending on history It is the most common conditions in athletics and sports, but now a days it also happens due to our lifestyle and previous injuries. You may usually feel Pain at the outer part of elbow You will feel tender pin point pain at lateral epicondyle of elbow-a prominent part of the bone outside elbow U will feel pain during wrist movements Like gripping, wrist extension, twisting,
Pouring, lifting (Any movement that associated with wrist movement) Morning stiffness Weakness in gripping and lifting activities Arm and forearm pain sometimes Sometimes swelling Test You will feel pain at outer aspect of elbow joint while you may be asked to extend your wrist and fingers against resistance with forearm fully supported Other tests like X-ray ---to rule out arthritis of elbow Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) --- to rule out neck pain, herniation of cervical disc This both condition may produce arm and forearm pain Electromyography (EMG)- to rule any nerve compression around elbow or neck region, symptoms are similar to those have tennis elbow. Please take care o Don t do repetitive movements at elbow and wrist joint
o Don t do long duration computer work o Don t sit in stoop position at desk work o Don t lift heavy objects Treatment o Apply hot and cold packs 4 to 5 times a day for 15 to 20 minutes.put a cloth between skin and pack o Wear a brace to support the elbow and prevent jerky Movement. o Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce swelling as well as pain o Electrotherapy like ultrasound or Interferential therapy (IFT)
o Joint mobilization : to reduce joint pain and improve mobility o Warm Up, stretching and strengthening exercises
o Rest o PRP(platelet rich plasma ) PRP is totally nonsurgical, antidrug and natural procedure.
VIROC is advanced in PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma ) like any other techniques in the field of Orthopedic. The most successful and relevant non operative pain reliving procedure is used at VIROC in which patient s own blood is used to treat the condition It is the most effective technique for tennis elbow. Patient s own blood is taken by injection and centrifuged from which platelet is being separated.thhis platelet is having the properties like pain relief and tissue growth factor.now this platelet is injected at the affected region and that part is being immobilized for time. After that patient feels complete pain relief from this pain.
