Lobsters Diners..168 Staff.20 Strong MEMORIES...Priceless Susan s Corner Flu season is upon us. I just want to remind you that my NUMBER ONE priority is the heath and safe keeping of your loved ones. Flu Shots will be offered to the staff and residents October 15 th at 10:30. I want you to know that if a staff member does not take the flu shot, they will be wearing a mask when caring for your loved one. The staff will also be carrying small bottles of hand sanitizer. I do ask that if you are not feeling well to please not visit your loved one, so as to decrease the chance of them getting the flu. Veteran s Day Celebration will be on 11 November This is one of my favorite holidays because we are given the opportunity to thank a very special group of people. There will be more details as it gets closer to the date. If you have information that you would like to share about you loved ones service please let me know. Enjoy the beginning of fall. 4 Did you Know. There is an Activity Cart located in the back of the Reflections Dining Room. It is there to provide lots of things that the families or friends can do with the Residents when visiting. There are various sensory boxes, puzzles, coloring items, magazines, books trivia and word searches. Case of wooden Board Games which includes Chess, Checkers, Backgammon and Chinese Checkers. Various Elder Games which are Memory Stimulation Activity Books. These include Flashback to Hollywood s Golden Aspen is one of our Therapy Dogs she is a 5 year Age, Precious Moments and It s a old American Eskimo Dog. Her and her owner Woman s World. She is a, Nationally Certified Activity Professional. She was awarded this honor in November Kathy has a passion for working with the senior population. For the past six years, she has achieved her dream of working with this population and she is thrilled be here at RiverCourt. Her goal as a professional activity director is to enrich the lives of the Residents here at RiverCourt through activities that promote wellness and fitness for all residents.
