3 Summer Camp 2016 Dear parent/guardian, Our Summer Camp will take place this year from Sunday 3 rd July to Thursday 7 th July We expect the places to fill up very quickly so to book your place we recommend you act soon! Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The cost for the residential Summer Camp is (this includes all meals, cinema visit, ten pin bowling and a swim at the Leisureplex fun pool) The cost for the non-residential Summer Camp is (this includes lunches only) You will find a booking form attached which should be completed and returned to the office together with your payment of 250 for the residential or 130 for the non-residential camp. On receipt of the booking form and full payment, your place will be confirmed on the Summer Camp. We can accept payments by debit or credit card, sterling cheque or BACs transfer. 4 Summer Camp Timetable Sunday 3 rd July 2016 Monday 4 th July 2016 Tuesday 5 th July 2016 Wednesday 6 th July 2016 Thursday 7 th July noon - Welcome meeting 2pm to 5pm - training 9.30am to 12 noon - training 1pm to 3.30pm - training Ten pin bowling 9.30am to 12 noon - training 1pm to 3.30pm - training Cinema 9.30am to 12 noon - training 1pm to 3.30pm - training Swim 9.30am to 12 noon training 12 noon lunch and departure Note: Non-residential gymnasts may go to the cinema, ten-pin bowling and swim also but please remember to bring pocket money to cover the costs.

If an injury occurs during this camp I permit the camp leader to take my child to the hospital, Lagan Valley Hospital/ Royal Victoria hospital for medical attention. I confirm my child has read the rules of the camp and will abide by these at all times. I confirm my child has read the Salto child protection policy and understands the policies in place. I give permission for my child to go on the cinema trip to Lisburn Omniplex to watch a suitable film for her age. I give permission to my child to go to the ten pin bowling alley. I give permission for my child to go the Lisburn Leisureplex for a fun swim session. I understand that if I break any of the rules and regulations of the camp it may result in having to return home and subsequently miss the remainder of the camp. 6 SUMMER CAMP RULES 1. I will listen to the camp leader/coaches at all times and abide by their instructions. 2. I will not go into the main gymnasium without permission. 3. I will not go outside of the building unless permitted. 4. I will not swear or use abusive language towards Salto staff or another gymnast at the camp. 5. I will not leave my dormitory at night time unless to visit toilet beside dormitories or in event of an emergency under instruction of the camp leader. 6. I will not bully or harass another gymnast on the camp. I will report to the team leader if I am bullied or upset by anyone s behaviour. 7. On Cinema/swimming trip I will stay with the team leader at all times. 8. I will not smoke or bring alcohol onto the premises. 9. I will go to bed when asked by the team leader. 10. I will listen to the camp coaches at all times in the gymnasium and follow their training advice and programme. I will not attempt any skills I have not been asked to do. 11. I will not bring any peanuts or nut products onto the premises as I am aware they can be dangerous for those who may have allergies. 12. I will tell the camp leader if I am sick and require medical attention. 13. I understand that any personal items belonging to me such as (phones, ipod s, ipad s, laptops, DVD s, games, jewellery, money, clothes) are my responsibility and that Salto NGC will not be held responsible for loss or damage of items. 14. I will not borrow or touch any items that do not belong to me unless asked to. 15. I will join in all camp activities to the best of my ability. 16. I will follow all safety procedures in event of a fire or emergency.

7 Please remember to bring the following: SUMMER CAMP towels (1 for swimming pool) Swimsuit/goggles Pocket money if you wish to buy snacks at the cinema A detailed list of any allergies/medication required. (All medication should be labelled with your name and should be discussed with the camp leader on arrival). Details of any existing injuries/training limitations List of skills you are currently working towards Toothpaste/Toothbrush/Shampoo etc DVDs/ Wii games (optional) Leotards, grips, water spray Any extra snacks/drinks you may need throughout the week, however we do have vending machines containing healthy snacks and energy drinks if you prefer to bring extra pocket money (All meals/drink will be provided for residential gymnasts) Cigarettes, alcohol and Red bull energy drinks are not permitted. (If you are caught with any of these items onsite you will be immediately sent home) Nuts or nut products are not permitted on the premises due to children with allergic reaction. Any valuables/money/mobile phones etc, are your own responsibility at all times. Salto will not be liable for loss of any such valuables.
