5 in at least ten ways Innovative Frontloading modules Vandal proof screw option 1 The innovative front-fitting switch modules of PD s 1600 Series are clipped into a patented face plate and can only be removed by using a special module ejecting tool. 6 The world s first front-fitting switch module system PD s front fitting module system is a patented world first. Unlike other modular ranges of domestic switchgear, PD s modules clips into place through the front of the switchplate. This unique safety feature prevents modules being knocked back into the wall cavity from the frontal impact, making them ideal for in use in Government buildings, state houses, universities, schools and any commercial installation where damage caused by the user has to be corrected by costly maintenance schemes. It also overcomes common domestic installation problems such as TV coaxial modules being pushed back into the wall cavity by coax plugs. Once fitted, the modules may only be removed from the switchplate with the aid of a special module ejector tool supplied. This unique feature maximises end user safety and prevents low profit return calls.
