2 REGINA BOXING CLUB 1400 McIntyre St. Regina, SK Since 1949 the Regina Boxing Club has mentored and coached hundreds of youth and athletes. It has been a place where athletic excellence is developed, an escape for vulnerable youth, a place where anybody is accepted, and confidence is transformed. The founding vision, to help create our community create better citizens still exists today, coaching youth as young as seven years old. Regina Boxing Club has not only been an escape from the streets, it has been a place where youth have developed into Olympians, national amateur champions, and professional champions. More than 6,000 youth and adults, ranging in age from ten to 64, have received fitness and athletic training from the Regina Boxing Club. THE EVENT FRI, May 13, 2016 Credit Union EventPlex Regina, SK The Ken Goff Memorial Boxing Classic (KGMBC) is a Las Vegas style fight night experience with dinner service and Olympic style boxing. Founded in 1994, it is a major fundraiser for the Regina Boxing Club and a tribute to the founder of the Regina Boxing Club, Ken Goff. Team Canada s men s and women s national boxing teams step into the ring with a visiting international team. This fight night experience is the only competition where Team Canada s boxers compete as a team in Canada. The KGMBC is recognized as a premier boxing card and event experience by the international boxing community.
