1 DRAFT COURSE PROGRAMME Risk Management DATE OF THE COURSE: VENUE: Training premises of the Undersecretary of Treasury Gazi Mustafa Kemal Bulvarı No:97 Ziraat Bankası Binası 6. kat Maltepe/ Ankara Overall purpose of the course: To provide participants with the knowledge and skills in risk management. Learning objective of the course: Upon completion the participants will have improved knowledge of central foundations, principles and concepts risk management skills in establishing proper context for risk management and organising risk management understanding of how to identify, monitor, communicate, assess, analyse and evaluate risks understanding of how risk management is implemented in other countries capability to apply risk management in their administration and organisations Training method: During the course the training will mainly focus on Finnish experiences and cases will discuss from the Finnish perspective. Training combines theory with practise and will be highly interactive. Training method will include presentations, work in small groups, practical exercises and Q&A sessions. Training will include class room training and distant learning on home work assignments given by the trainers. Target group: Overall target group are the civil servants from beneficiary organisations dealing performance/strategic management. Target group will be divided into two groups. Same training will be delivered to both groups. Group one will attend the morning session and group two will attend the afternoon session. Language: There will be simultaneous interpretation from English to Turkish language Duration: Training is composed of 5 half-day sessions for both groups during Total duration of training is 2,5 days for each group. Training will include class room training and distant learning (1 half a day per group) based on assignments given by the trainer during the course.
