3 Serious Injury Oh my! Your process has a serious injury, that poor thing! You may have been cutting corners to get things going on quickly, but we both know that this has seriously affected the way your whole recruitment process looks like. 03
4 Here is a more detailed view of your current recruitment process. We can clearly tell that you are doing a good job in interviewing and communication areas, but when it comes to sourcing or branding, let's agree that it's not your strongest asset. 04
5 Communication You are doing pretty well in the communication area; you update the candidates that you interviewed with their application status and you do reference checks for some positions. But you should update all candidates of their application status, this helps building a positive relationship with them on the long term. And you should always do reference checks because that of course helps you verify candidates qualifications. However, you should stop using s for communicating with your colleagues and managing your hiring process and replace it instead with an innovative hiring system that can make the process effortless (psss try 05
6 Employer Branding You are not paying enough attention to branding your company, but if you want to get top talent in the market, you have to put some more effort in this area. Job descriptions are one of the basic ways of branding, since they don't only include information about the job itself, but they also reflect the culture of your company and the type of people who are working there. Another simple way of branding your company as an employer of choice, is by raising awareness about your working environment, benefits that you offer and cool activities that you do with your team. 06
7 Sourcing We know that sourcing is the most painful part in the recruitment process for every recruiter out there, but that doesn't mean that solving the sourcing symptoms can't be easy. Using job sites is great, they do provide qualitative candidates in a quick way, but there is no harm in getting candidates from your employees, utilizing your website by adding a careers tab and advertising on your social media accounts. Keyword searching takes forever, you have to figure out all the possible words that can be used for a single term and try it out, doing this with multiple fields and combinations is a recipe for a heart attack! Everything is automated nowadays, try using a software to handle this dirty job for you. 07
8 Interviewing Interviewing is your strongest area, way to go! You conduct structured interviews and you do assessments, this minimizes the bias in the process and verifies the candidates' technical skills, which are both crucial in the hiring process. Phone interviews are important, not only they can give you a quick insight about the candidate, but they are also a time saver for you and the candidate. Nevertheless, you are still interviewing quite a lot of candidates for a single position, we may need to run a couple more tests to know exactly what is aching you. 08
9 Your Perscription Update all candidates of their application status. Do reference checks for all positions. Manage your hiring process and communication using a hiring software. Get the hiring managers involved in writing job descriptions. Brand your company's culture on social media and career sites. Use referrals and social media for sourcing more candidates. Always conduct phone interviews to save time and effort. 09
