On behalf of our client, Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty (RLPCC), we are searching for a talented and inspiring Manager, REALTOR Development, who will oversee the organization s related realtor development, marketing and will work with RLPCC s team to increase market share. Reporting directly to the President, the Manager, Realtor Development plays a crucial role in marketing RLPCC as an employer of choice. This dynamic position will onboard, mentor and train new and experienced Realtors. The manager will also conduct outreach, attend networking events, and plan marketing activities and strategies for the company and in support of recruiting new and experienced Realtors. The successful candidate will bring the following education and experience: Secondary school graduate, and preferred related under-graduate degree (e.g. business, commerce or MBA) Must have an active real estate license and a minimum of three years experience in real estate sales Must be within one year of obtaining managing broker license Experience using industry software required Preference will be given to those candidates that also bring: Experience recruiting professionals, ideally within real estate profession Experience developing and delivering training in a classroom setting Experience onboarding new and experienced professionals Present and/or past Managing Broker experience Marketing experience, particularly social media marketing strategies, and creating effective marketing strategies. Our core value is honesty. Position Summary: The Manager, REALTOR Development, plays a crucial role in marketing RLPCC as an employer of choice. This position conducts outreach, attends networking events, and plans marketing activities in support of recruiting new and experienced REALTORS ; followed by onboarding, mentoring and training new and experienced REALTORS. Responsibilities Leadership/Management: - Motivate and inspire new and experienced REALTORS to excel - Serve as FINTRAC Compliance Officer, overseeing compliance - Facilitate/Manage RLP and RLPCC corporate generated leads 1 C onfidential
3 Networking and Outreach: - Attend networking events and conduct other outreach initiatives to seek out and encourage new and experienced REALTORS to join the company Training: - Create, execute and facilitate training for all RLPCC REALTORS - Provide onboarding, coaching and individual training and mentoring, plus weekly classroom style training for new recruits (requiring preparation, coordination and facilitation of training workshops for new recruits) - Train and mentor new and experienced REALTORS to RLPCC on tools, processes, systems, culture, etc. - Help new and experienced REALTORS reach their goals through coordinated check ins, workshops and annual reviews - Work with Managing Brokers on weekly meeting agendas Recruitment of REALTORS : - Work with Managing Brokers on all REALTOR recruitment and training - Organize Career Nights - Coordinate and conduct interviews/meetings with potential REALTORS - Seek relevant opportunities to find new REALTORS through coordination with Management - Coordinate career opportunities with appropriate and relevant sources - Communicate the benefits of joining the RLPCC team; articulate value proposition; and compensation plans as and when appropriate - Manage all new and experienced REALTOR registration forms for BCREA, VREB and RLPCC Marketing: - Oversee Communications and Marketing Support Coordinator in: o facilitating recruitment advertising, general RLPCC marketing and advertising (print, web, social media, etc.) o Running recruitment campaigns o Website development o Responsible for Kiosk Utilization 2 C onfidential
4 General: - Work with Managing Brokers on REALTOR coverage and support, from answering questions, facilitate in problem solving, assist with writing contracts, mentor between agents and spell off each other on weekend Manager on call duty. Qualifications Secondary school graduate, and preferred related under-graduate degree (e.g. business, commerce or MBA) Must have an active real estate license and a minimum of three years experience in real estate sales. Must be within one year of obtaining managing broker license Experience recruiting professionals, ideally within real estate profession preferred Experience using industry software Experience developing and delivering training in a classroom setting preferred Experience onboarding new recruits preferred Marketing experience preferred, particularly social media marketing strategies, and creating effective marketing strategies. 5 Salary and Compensation This is a full time position that will require overtime to be served from time to time and may include attendance to Real Estate Business and its operations and affairs and the performance of his/her duties during extended and irregular hours. This position is not entitled to overtime, but shall be entitled to some reasonable flexibility in deciding his/her hours of attendance. - The Manager of Realtor Operations (MRO) shall be paid an annual base salary of $75,000 per annum. - The MRO shall receive a bonus of up to $20,000 based (Criteria to be determined) - The MRO shall be entitled to 3 weeks annual vacation in their first year and 4 weeks for each following year. - The Company will cover all fees and costs for the Manager Real Estate Development to maintain their license including and not limited to: VREB monthly and annual dues, Royal LePage Franchise fees, RECBC licensing fees and education requirement costs - The Manager, Realtor Development shall receive standard Company Life insurance benefits 4 C onfidential
