1 INDUSTRY TRAINING AUTHORITY BYLAW Bylaw: Bylaw Number: Recognized Industry Training Programs B1002 Definition: A Recognized Training Program is one that has been approved by the Industry Training Authority Board of Directors and is consistent with the Industry Training Authority policy Criteria for Approving Training Programs. These programs follow provincial standards, include in-school and employment-based training, and employer attestation of competency. Successful completion of a Recognized Industry Training Program results in the issuance of both a Certificate of Qualification and a Certificate of Apprenticeship. Successful challenge of a Recognized Industry Training Program results in the issuance of a Certificate of Qualification. Note: Programs listed in red font are inactive. ITA is not accepting new registrations into these programs. Note: Programs listed in green indicate that certification is only available through exam challenge. No apprenticeship pathway available.
