Day 2 - MADRID AT LEISURE Welcome to Madrid - Europe s highest capital! Transfer from Madrid Airport to tour hotel. As evening falls, you re invited to a Welcome reception with drink and a light meal. Hotel: Conde Duque/NH Nacional Meals: Welcome Reception Day 3 - MADRID SIGHTSEEING Take a guided tour down the Gran Via to the Cibeles Fountain on the wide Paseo de la Castellana. Cross the Puerta del Sol and see the Cervantes Monument in the Plaza de España before visiting the state apartments of the Royal Palace. The afternoon is at leisure.

2 Day 4 - MADRID - GRANADA Drive up to the windmills on the ridge above Consuegra for views over the plains of La Mancha. Continue through Valdepeñas and hear about the wines that make this region so famous. Upon reaching Granada, enjoy a guided tour of the Alhambra Palace: a fantasy of stone cut lace, arabesque gardens and fountains. You also visit the exotic water gardens of the Generalife. For your dining pleasure tonight, choose from a selection of restaurants. Hotel: Saray / Dine Around Day 5 - GRANADA - COSTA DEL SOL Time at leisure this morning. Then drive past olive groves to the sun drenched Costa del Sol. Hotel: Melia Costa Del Sol Day 6 - COSTA DEL SOL GIBRALTAR TANGIER Travel along the coast road past exclusive resorts to Gibraltar, a British territory since Visit the Rock of Gibraltar, St. Michael s Cave and see the Barbary Apes! Set sail across the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco, a world of veils, musky spices, bazaars, souks and snake charmers. Hotel: Andalucia Golf / Dinner Day 7 - TANGIER - FES On a sightseeing tour of Tangier, see the famous Medina and the Casbah before continuing to Fes, the most ancient of Morocco s cities. Enjoy a superb Moroccan Dinner and a Folklore Show with drums and belly dancing. 3 Day 10 - MARRAKESH SIGHTSEEING Take a horse and carriage ride to Jemaa el Fna Square where acrobats, dancers and fortune tellers entertain you. Continue on your guided tour to explore the Medina with its many souks, see the Koutobia Minaret and visit the Bahia Palace. Day 11 - MARRAKESH - CASABLANCA - RABAT Did Humphrey Bogart really say Play it again Sam? Find out at Rick s Café, recreated from the famous movie. Enjoy a two course lunch and drink before an orientation tour of Casablanca. Continue to Rabat to see the Royal Palace and Hassan Tower. Hotel: Golden Tulip / Highlight Lunch / Dinner Day 12 - RABAT - SEVILLE Cross back over to Spain and continue to Seville, exquisite capital of Andalusia. Hotel: Melia Seville/Abba Tirana Day 13 - SEVILLE SIGHTSEEING Soak up the atmosphere on a walking tour of the Santa Cruz Quarter, with its narrow lanes and flower decked wrought iron balconies. See the fabulous Alcazar and slender Giralda Tower before entering the immense 15C Cathedral, the final resting place of Christopher Columbus. The afternoon is at leisure. 4 Day 16 - LISBON FATIMA SALAMANCA Drive into the green hills north of Lisbon to visit Portugal s celebrated pilgrimage town of Fatima. Moving on, a highlight lunch has been arranged in the eastern fortified town of Belmonte. Then cross back into Spain and continue to Salamanca, famous for its golden stone buildings. Hotel: Alameda Palace / Highlight Lunch Day 17 - SALAMANCA TOLEDO MADRID See the New and Old Cathedrals before continuing past the walls of Avila to Toledo. Walk through the maze of cobbled streets to visit the Cathedral with its paintings by El Greco. On arrival in Madrid, enjoy a Celebration Dinner with wine at a local restaurant.
